From tips for trips to delicious freshly squeezed juices, the snooze team comes number one! The room is spotless clean as is the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. You can serve your own coffee or ask for an extra tasty espresso. It really felt like home (for sure prettier than mine) and it was actually hard to leave. Already can't wait to come back! Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. This boutique is absolutely amazing. The boutique is incredibly beautiful & super clean with a lot of beautiful art/style. The staff is super kind, helpful & is immediately at your service. We had the nicest stay here! We will definitely visit again!!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Blue Garden Yogyakarta is a recently renovated guest house located in Yogyakarta, 11 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Ndalem Suryo Saptono Guest House is situated in Yogyakarta, 2.7 km from Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station, 3.1 km from Tugu Monument, as well as 3.1 km from Malioboro Mall. Very impressed with the architectural style of the room, the carved wooden door ( a masterpiece). Good attention to details, although a 2 star accomodation, we had better facilities than a 3 star hotel. The owner values his guests, a lot of resting areas in the courtyard, a fridge with juice and beers to cool down were expecting us upon our arrival. Good breakfast ( we were asked what we prefere to eat). The singing birds were the main attraction for the kids. After some bad nights spent in horrible guesthouses, this one came like a very nice surprise.
