The sweet and smiling service from welcome to goodbye, is what I enjoyed the most. The two staff girls I met were really lovely and helpful. Wonderful terrace for view to sunset or starry night sky - totally quiet. Very nice food of local products. Excellent location for meeting local tribes at Lake Eyasi and going to the Ngorogoro crater.

The gardens and grounds were beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are enormous ; clean with huge shower and balcony.

The location is secluded and very quiet on the top of a hill in a forest. I had a great and peacful night sleep with the sound of the rain and birds early morning. No mosquitoes or biting bugs. The view from my tent was beautiful especially at sunset. Tents are very clean and good size. Air is clean. staff are very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Abbas for taking care of all my needs during my stay. Meals prepared by the local chef are delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend to stay here if you are planning for safari in either Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire national park or lake manyara (however Serengete is far way). I had a good internet connection in the tent. I recommend going for the ones closer to the reception (number 1-4) if you want to receive internet connection in your tent. Thanks for the great stay at Rhotia. Definitely staying here next time I visit Tanzania :)

The young Maasai lad working at the lodge was fantastic. He worked so hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The Manager is also a very nice gentleman. On the day we were leaving he took us all the way into town and helped make sure we got on the correct bus to Arusha. The breakfast was really excellent and included fresh juice, delicious home made pancakes, eggs, peanut butter and honey and a big selection of fruit. We really enjoyed the 3-course dinner which was delicious. Our room was good, especially the beds which are super soft and comfortable. Location is really good if you want to be based near Ngorongoro and the other nearby attractions. The property boasts some nice areas for sitting around relaxing as well as a lovely cat that spends much of its time sitting around relaxing. This is a really good value for money property run by lovely people
