Alpine Lodge Chesa al Parc in Pontresina features a spa and fitness centre, as well as self-catering accommodation units with a balcony, mountain views and free WiFi access. Everything, really! The location (though not the closest to Pontresina Station) was the main priority for searching a stay in this lovely town. And the size of the apartment for a family of 8 was just so perfect! We all could fit at the table and had dinner together. Also 10mins walk to the hill behind our hotel, we witnessed wild ibex! How cool- a sight we rarely will come across in our lives. The view from the room was heavenly- very refreshing. My son spent an hour every day at the window telling me how the snow falls, how the squirrels jumped from one tree to the other, ans how the bird sings in the morning. He just love sitting at the window and outside in the cold. Very small details like the map, the cutlery, oven, toaster, kettle, toiletries, etc was a giveaway and really sums up our pleasant stay.

Centrally located in Pontresina, 300 metres from the gondola lift, Alpine Lodge Chesa Plattner features a spa and wellness area, free Wi-Fi and apartments with a mountain-view balcony. We actually stayed Chesa a la Punt so this review is for there in a one bedroom apartment with a terrace. All facitilies in the room and in the wellness rooms are modern and are constructed to a very high standard using top quality fixtures and fittings. As we went off season, everywhere was lovely and quiet which made it a great place to relax. We loved watching the wildlife from the window and saw the Ibex feeding just a short walk away.
