Perfect location and right amount of space for us. Owner was easy to connect with and kind. Had everything we needed. You could tell they wanted guests to be comfortable, anticipated needs.

Situated in Papa Bay Estates and only 32 km from Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, Country Cottage in Papa Bay features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The cottage is a lovely "tiny house." It is off-grid, compact, well designed, and had everything I needed. I loved the screened in porch with a view of the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful - I slept great there. It is off the beaten track but easy to find - a little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Yet is is not far from Kealakekua, Captain Cook town, Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, and Ho`okena Beach. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Arthur, the host. I plan to stay there the next time I visit my family nearby.

So clean and a great location! Was so great to have a kitchen, washer dryer, and air conditioned room :)

Boasting garden views, The Red Cottage and Hawaiian Pond Garden Paradise! features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 16 km from Lava Tree State Monument. We had a great stay at „The Red Cottage“ and as the name says - it is a garden paradise! The informations and hospitality were excellent and we really enjoyed the nature and cooking outside. One note: As you are that close to nature, you will see some insects inside your home - but on the other hand you have chicken and Hawaiian Geckos greeting you in the morning.

Home near Volcano National Park, Hilo, Kehena, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is situated in Keaau, 19 km from Lava Tree State Monument, 21 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum, as well... We loved the home, the decor, the sound if the wildlife (frogs & birds). The owner was very helpful & clear with directions and local insights.
