Staff were really nice and accommodating. I got an sms with a pin code for my room half an hour after booking last minute. Room was clean and spacious and the pub downstairs was incredible.

Mercure North Melbourne (previously Rydges) features 70 modern guest rooms, an outdoor pool and a café/bar. It is conveniently located directly opposite the Royal Children’s Hospital. The food available was really good, and the location was great. Once we found out how easy the trams were, it was so convenient to get around. We’d definitely stay again.

Recommend for those with kids to stay.

Melrose Apartments is a 500-metre walk from an IGA Supermarket, it is a 5-minute walk from Ministry of Dance and a 10-minute walk from Melbourne Royal Hospital. The room is well set out I loved the décor. The host was fabulous and very helpful. There is a lift available if needed (with luggage). The accommodation exceeded my expectation.

Affordable room in a great location with a free car park. Easy check-in and check out process and prompt return of the deposit.

North Melbourne Retreat is a 20-minute walk from Queen Victoria Market. This self-contained accommodation features a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dishwasher and a private balcony. Lovely apartment and great location. Tram stop on door step and plenty of shops and eateries within walking distance. Never met the owners due to unusual check in/out times but always able to contact on phone and they were very accommodating and supportive when our son, who wasn't part of our initial reservation, was involved in a car accident and needed accommodation. Great City, great little retreat,would deffo recommend and if ever in Melbourne again will definitely revisit. My wife and I are truly grateful for Tony and Suzie's assistance in supporting our son.
