What a beautiful place! The layout of the building is very comfortable and the third floor has hammocks and sun chairs for relaxing in sun and enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze. I can’t begin to say how nice and accommodating the staff is. By the way breakfast is awesome and made fresh daily.

Hostal Casa de las Americas features air-conditioned rooms in the Getsemani district of Cartagena de Indias. The property is situated 2.2 km from Cartagena's Walls, 2.6 km from Cartagena's Gold... Had an exceptional stay in Casa de las Americas during my week in Cartagena. The location was perfect for walking around to restaurants and sights while being quiet, the room was very clean and comfortable for one person and I was offered a nice small breakfast every morning. The highlight of my stay however was meeting David and Maty who made me feel at home with their chats and recommendations on places to see. Hands down the best hostel experience!
