As the first Indonesian guest was staying at Tree House Hostel Sigiriya, i really so happy. Everything about this place was FANTASTIC. The staff were incredibly friendly, extremely helpful. Especially Gayomi and her husband (the owner) are wonderfull with a gold heart. They went above and beyond to make sure. The breakfast and dinner was amazing and the room was cozy and cute with a mosquite net. A lovely atmosphere and this hostel is a good way to meet people to go on tours with. it's in a great location which is in the middle of jungle and close to Pidurangala Rock. The owner and his resort are extremely welcoming and positive. It is located directly next to a lake in the green nature with elephants around. The food is amazing. The owner will take care of your needs, advice you with a lot of background knowledge but doesn't push you to follow his recommendations. The room is very big, clean and has an amazing terrace, where you can sit for hours and look into the beautiful nature. they have a nice Ayurvedic massage center. This was a true ayurvedic massage, a very professional treatment with natural ingredients. The place is very simple, open space under little huts, no fancy beds or towels. So if you’re looking for some luxury or quirky place, this is not it.

Very nice and peaceful place. Kosta has a big garden and the hostel is in the forest. Notice that you cant go outsode at night by foot because of the dangerous wild elephant. But Kosta wants to bring you everywhere on the bike, also in daytime which is great. Or you can ask a tuktukdriver. The hostel isn't too big so it has a good vibe. Nice breakfast!

I truly liked the place - clean, simple, with delicious local food and beautiful sunsets. To see the Buddha statue in the temple "next door" is a true bliss. The owners of the hostel are super helpful with anything you need in Sigiriya and Sri Lanka - best food places, ordering tuk-tuks as well as safari and guiding tours.
