Relaxing sunny and newly decorated beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. Nestled in a private setting with lovely flat grounds on a large section (approx 1/3 acre) with a tranquil outlook of orange trees and open spaces. Perfect spot for recharging your batteries with a special time away, either visiting family, a couples getaway, boys fishing trip, girls getaway, or even if you are up here to work, why not spoil yourself with somewhere lovely to come back to at the end of the day! Warm in winter or cooled down in summer with an air conditioning heat pump. Lovely sun-soaked deck for enjoying a glass of wine while the BBQ is getting ready or just sitting back with a good book and listen to the plentiful bird life - leaving the kids to run around with a ball or jump on the trampoline. Guests are welcome to swim in our "shared" family salt water pool (not heated, so seasonal swimming). We are situated in a rural setting in the beautiful Bay of Islands town of Kerikeri, just 5 minutes from cafes, restaurants, shops, beautiful bushwalks, waterfalls and galleries. Another bonus is we are only 2 minutes from a good boat ramp! Filleting table ready and waiting for that big catch! Your own access is down to the tree lined hideaway of Kendall Cottage. ***Please ensure you have entered your childrens ages when booking****
Recently relocated from the hustle and bustle of Auckland, to the peace and quiet Kerikeri has to offer. Such a beautiful spot for us to bring along our extended family, so from the age of 4 to 80 :-)
We are close to town when needing to get some retail therapy, a pamper, wine and dine, or just head out to see the many sights Kerikeri and the rest of the Bay of Island has to offer. A 9 minute walk from the cottage to the amazing Parrot Place or a 21 minute walk to The Stone Store for a coffee at the Honey House Cafe or a drink and dinner at the Plough and Feather resturant/bar. Kendall Cottage is located on a quiet street with a rural feel, great for a 25 minute (mostly flat) morning walk around the block to see the beautiful water views - kids can bike or skate board while the adults enjoy a walk :-) Make this your central spot for visiting everything the far north has to offer!
