The owner went above and beyond what would be expected for customer support. He let us use the kitchen, shared meals his staff cooked for him with us, walked me to the super market to show me where to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, arranged taxi service, and even drove me to the city with his own motor scooter to fix my eye glasses which were broken. The facilities were also good and it was a one minute walk to the main stairs going down to the beach. Overall a nice and cozy homestay in Varkala.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The grounds are gorgeous, right on the beach, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The owner and staff do all they can to make the stay comfortable and went above and beyond to help me. Their Ayurvedic spa service, I would also recommend. The restaurant is delicious and sits with a beautiful view. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe and relaxed in the resort as well as the area. Will always recommend this stay to others.
