Facing the seafront in Kota Belud, Bigfin beach resort features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden. The property provides sea views and a terrace. Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. Definitely book this place!! It’s clean but also immersed in nature. We were very happy about the fact that we had a beach. The usage of the other hotels within this resort was allowed - that was amazing! Great gym and the rooms were pretty big. Excellent!
