Best stay in Kyoto area! Staff is so kind, the location is superb! Highest building in Kyoto area, going out of the hotel you have Familymart and 7 eleven, can always buy a bento box with yummy delicious food. The subway is right at the hotel lower floors, rooms are super clean and spacious. The breakfast is superb, you get to drink coffee and choose from a rich buffet on the 17th floor ! We had the best honeymoon stay at this amazing hotel and property!! So grateful for the kind attitude and treatment we got, thank you thank you thank you!! Ariggato for everything

Breakfast was excellent, both myself and kids loved. There were some hipcups during check-ins. It took awhile for staff to sorted out. Apparently online booking allows family of 3 to occupy a double room while the staff stated not the case. A young man helped us sorted out our situation and allowed us to stay with no extra charge. Please be aware Japanese hotel room standard is very different from North American. Despite that, our overall hotel experience was decent, owing much this friendly staff. We really appreciated it!

The question asks "what did you think of breakfast," but there was no breakfast, so if they're advertising this, it doesn't exist. The old korean lady and her son? that run this place are SUPER nice and accommodating. I guess it's a new place, so whatever room I booked on booking was already booked out, so they gave my friend and I a 6 person room for ourselves. If that didn't happen to be available that night though, we would have been SOL. Anyway they were nice about it and always happy to help.

I'm pretty sure there's one toilet and one shower (thank god, they're separate) for this entire property of like, 6 rooms and maybe 20 or more beds? Luckily it wasn't too full on our trip but I can see that becoming a nightmare fast. It was clean, at least.

It had a very cool rooftop bar with a wonderful view of Hiroshima and upon check-in, the staff provided some coins that could be exchanged for a drink like a soda. Location was also pretty good as it was walking distance to peace park.

The reception desk was on the top floor, meaning you had to take an elevator from the ground floor to the 14 floor to check in. Our room was so small. There was hardly any walking space between the bed and the entryway and the bathroom. The laundry machines took forever to dry, resulting in 3-4 cycles of paid dry time. And the hotel staff required that we purchase a bottle of water in order to get change for the laundry machine.

1. Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am this is horrible!! Although it was mentioned checkout at 11am but somehow they mentioned its 10am. Very uncomfortable and bad 2. We booked so many months in advance and asked for fuji san view given it was months in advance. However they denied and out of 4 rooms only 1 had it. 3. Breakfast was served as separate Japanese dishes and western which is utterly sad! For a family some people might prefer Japanese or western so separating buffet in 2 locations when only 1-2 dishes are extra is quite stingy... how much money will you make extra but doing such stingy tasks!!
