The owner and host was unbelievably friendly. Jorge, thank you very much for your kindness and willingness to help! The location of the hostal is great as it is very close to the central Catalunya square as well as the Ramblas and Barcelona market. Easy to get from and to the airport as well.

Our room faced other buildings so we had no terrace ore view out to the street. The upside was it was entirely quiet.

Perfect location. Easy to walk to Gaudi sites, the Gothic quarter, and the Gracias neighborhood. Great pedestrian street around the corner. It was also clean and quiet.

I had hoped to find a pensión for much less, but I guess these are the going rates these days.

George is a kind and helpful host. The room was clean and the location is fantastic - close to both the Gothic Quarter and public transportation to the Gaudi works, as well as a sweet promenade through the Eixample.

The walls are a bit thin so we could hear when other people are using the toilet or talking but this is purely due to the structure of the building, didn’t really bothered us much

Location is wonderful! In walking distance to most of the attractions eg Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, La Ramblas etc. Property is in a neighbourhood building but is very well maintained and has housekeeping everyday. There’s a lift in the building which is convenient too. Owners were really friendly in explaining everything (food recommendation was really good).

Great location, close to majority of Barcelona attractions. Host is very friendly and helpfull. Absolut Stay is a modest object but very clean - big plus for that. It is clearly visible that host is taking care a lot about this aspect and wants all the guests to feel comfortable. Check In/Out process very smooth and fast. The place is suitable for those who need clean room with quite comfortable bad to sleep after extensive city visiting:))

Excellent location- could walk to La Sagrada Familia and other modernista architecture examples easily as well as Las Ramblas etc and there was a variety of cafes/ bars/ restaurants around with affordable prices. The room looked out into the tree-lined street and had a private balcony- delightful! And it gad a kettle etc so you could make tea/coffee as you wanted! George and his partner were knowledgeable and unfailingly helpful re how to get to various sights/places and they really made us feel ‘at home’.

Nothing. Only way our stay could have been improved was access to a fridge & maybe microwave.

Some guests in the hostal Absolut has no consideration at all they bang the door when the come in late at night.

Alex was very helpful and so as George .The location is perfect very close to everything shop restaurant public transport . You can also just walk.
