Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaThe studio unit is small. A tight fit even for two people. Citadines share a building with a condominium, it was noisy with noise from the condo occupants and the bustling traffic.
Location was excellent. Right smack in the middle of the city.

BruneiThe location is in front of fish market during daytime there is a weird smell came from the market. The room size was too small for two big luggage and one stroller.
What we love is to have pantry in the room, its convenient for us to wash bottle and made milk for baby. The gym was great, all equipment are new. Free coffee at the lobby. We checked in late 11pm, they allowed us to check out late at 2pm.

KenyaThe quality of their breakfasts changed too much- one day it was super simple, another day there were loads of options. Maybe keep the quality consistently high to match the hotel's ambiance. Also their beds are on the firmer side, and I prefer a pillow-top or memory foam bed. They did provide me with extra pillows, but that didn't help much.
I really loved my stay here. The staff are wonderful and extremely accommodating. I'd asked for a quiet room while booking due to health concerns, and they went over and above to find me a room that worked. They gave me four options, and showed them to me, and allowed me to pick the quietest one. Note that I stayed there during the Eid celebrations and the room I settled on was wonderful- couldn't hear a thing (but had to sacrifice the view). Also, there was a day when it was raining and they gave me an umbrella to use. They also helped me with information to book excursions directly through them which made it much easier to pick what to do, and they were really clear on what was expected of me. The hotel is still under construction so many of the amenities are new (like the pool and gym) and some are not open yet (the bar). Right now, they've got rooms till the 9th floor, but the hotel is set to go up to 23 floors. They were also under construction while I was there, but I heard absolutely nothing. The view from the bar (it's fully furnished, just not a functioning bar) was spectacular, as it's got really comfy seating overlooking the ocean. I especially loved the gym. The lifts are also super fast and the location is close to loads of places to eat and shop. Their major mall is about 5-10 minutes away in a cab. Also the WiFi was great- fast, no lagging- wonderful!

United States of AmericaThe bed was ant infested first evening. That was remedied. Subsequently, I observe that the floor has too many ants. I was concerned that I would bring the ants home and infest my house. Place is new. Many issues w the actual hotel room. Such as Dust and noise was a major problem, ants in bed and floor was gross, toilet not flushing clean in sprite of multiple flushes, shower spraying everywhere because the glass shower surround is not installed/designed properly, hot water switch unknown to all- leading to no hot water for a couple of nights, house keeper only put bedsheet on the mattress but didn’t put bedsheet with the blanket. … I talked with the very respectful and attentive manager regarding the living conditions and that I would like them to credit me for some of my week’s stay and management told me that they ‘will definitely do something’ (to credit me), but I haven’t heard anything as yet.
Staff very nice indeed. Very helpful, and friendly. Enjoyed the coffee machine in lobby when it works. But half the time, it malfunctions and also run out of milk which was not keeping up with the demand. It is not efficiently set up yet, I assume, because the hotel is newly put in operation.
