Room near to the roadside and a little noisy at times with bikes and car rams. No TV in the room. Other guests make noise while walking at the hall.

Near to pekan nabalu and many eateries although drive is preferred. Wifi was good.

One of the rooms had low water pressure resulting in intermittent hot water. A bit noisy in the morning from vehicles on the road

It is located on a hill slope with ample parking. Room size is very good. Has a nice little garden patch, BBQ pits with bench table, a wash basin and waste bin. Great place to chill with friends and family.

Cons: (Nitpicking here, especially compared to alternative stays around Kundasang, I'm really satisifed with what was offered. Some are room for improvement for the operators' consideration.) - Could use a microwave for quick reheat of takeaway food, helps keep the kitchen clean too if can avoid cooking - Cramped bathroom layout - not something that can be changed, just adapt to it - Woke up around 2am on the first night because the electricity went out. Bright emergency lights switched on and can't turn off until electricity came back around 5-6am. A few electricity interruptions throughout my 2 nights stay. Luckily the cool weather, pleasant mother nature and our charged devices kept us occupied. - Road condition is only good on main roads. Road branching off the main road to the place is narrow and in bad condition (potholes). This is the case throughout Kundasang and can't really fault the accommodation. Road leading up to our building is also super steep. Alternative is to park at the base of the accommodation outside the compound (limited bays). Overall, would recommend only for brave/unfazed drivers.

Pros: - Absolutely LOVE the chalet style building. Very picturesque site, well maintained/painted exterior and surroundings. - Stayed in the 2nd floor Family Room - 3 rooms with each room having an on-suite bathroom (NICE!) - Full Kitchen - electric kettle, few pots, a small wok, rice cooker, stove top and sufficient cutlery/utensils. - 5 mins drive from the town centre market with plenty of fresh fruits/vege options, we got chicken meat from mini mart stores near the market. - Nice view overlooking a valley. No Kinabalu view though (Mt. Kinabalu is behind the place, blocked by a mountain/hill so absolutely no view from here). - Barbeque pits available outside at common area but we didn't use them

To be honest .. it would be difficult for elderly to “hike” to their respective rooms or walk around to enjoy the morning breeze. The hotel shd consider 0r provide a buggy ride for elders if coming with a tour bus. As buses can’t enter the properties .I came with my 89 old man and I found some difficulty in helping him to “hike” to his room. to and fro.

The landscape of the hotel is awesome for pictures. Night view is fantastic and it’s so freezing cold (that’s why it’s kundasang)😁. The architectural of the hotel facade is so amazing and well placed. The BBQ area very clean and spacious to gather a crowd ..an extra bench or stools will be a bonus.

The toilet was clean but the odour from drainage is very strong. We had the ‘light insects’ coming into the room during rainy the day/night despite having the windows with netting. Sleeping at night wasn’t that great as we can easily hear/feel footsteps and sounds/loud snoring coming from other rooms due to thin/hollow walls and floorings.

The location was acceptable as it’s near the town area of kundasang. The room was clean and up to expectations! More than enough parking slots available for a peak season and you don’t really have to drive up a very steep slope for parking like most homestays.

The direction map provided thru booking.com is completely wrong. We have to google for the correct direction. Luckily it was still daylight otherwise it would have been scary.

The location and facilities is okay. View is quite stunning.
