Staff was great, always there if you need. The Sintra tour is a must, guide was great and knowleadgeable. Free walking tour was also fun, great way to connect with other people staying there ! All in all, I recommend 😃

Lack of bed curtains which for some may be a problem. Some toilet stalls very small Stairs to access rooms - can be exhausting after a long day of waking!

Communal facilities very clean and good attention to details eg. Detachable shower head Free sangria, soup and pub crawl - good way to mingle and meet new people Excellent location, 5 mins walk to Cais do Sodre and 15 mins to Rossio for travelling to other cities or connecting metro Beds have everything you need - light, charging ports Most receptionist staff I met are very friendly

Bathrooms could use a renovation

The location is fantastic, very convenient to grab food, take the metro, or just use the hostel as a home base as you walk around Lisbon.

It was a little inconvenient having to pay cash and they’re not accepting card. But it was no big deal.

It was a beautiful classic old building, beds, lockers and dormitories were all fantastic and virtually new. Lockers big enough to store all your things under the bed. But the biggest thing was all the activities you meet people straight away with the walking Tour all the free sangria each night or the pub crawl each night incredible place for Solo Travel to make lifelong friends

Great location if you are after nightlife. The place has a mixture of modern and traditional architecture. Rooms are neat and clean with lockers for your stuff. There's many activities/perks for guests (eg. Guided tour, wine tasting or free traditional soup) Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The female toilet is open and cannot be close. Some males entered by either mistake or intentionally. Don't feel safe because of this.

I only stayed for one day but it exceeded my expectations! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the lockers were very safe for leaving your personal belongings there! I felt really safe as a solo traveller. The hostel is very close to the center! The bathroom was also very clean! I would definitely recommend it!

The marble stairs were a challenge. There are several flights. If you are old or have mobility issues don’t stay there. I was extremely careful but many people my age could not do it even if they tried. It’s more for youth in 20’s and 30’s!

The staff was the best part. And the building is 300 years old-an old monastery? Just beautiful- vaulted ceilings, tiled walls- beautiful!! And they have breakfast and laundry service for 5 euros. And a chef offers meals for 15 E on Saturday and Sunday. And many tours are available for a fee. Great place!!

Lovely everything, free sangrias in the evening, lovely staff, rooms are spacious, comfy bed, bright in the room, separate men's and women's bathrooms was perfect and everything was super clean.

Breakfast is cheap but still very basic

Top location Great lounge area Events and space to meet with new people Very large and modern rooms. Locker is huge. Lots of space near beds to put your stuff. There are many chilling areas on the floors. One of the best hostels I've stayed!

Only two slight negative experiences at this hostel. On arrival I offered to pay the ‘city tax’ but was told by a member of staff that as my stay was longer than 7 days I wouldn’t be required to pay it. When checking out however I was asked to pay it which left me a little confused but I accepted it. I couldn’t fault the staff as it wasn’t their fault it was just what it said on their system but to be told one thing then having to do another was a little disappointing. The only other slight negative experience for others may be no curtains for privacy on the beds. I wasn’t overly bothered by this but I could understand why others might find this a problem.

When booking this hostel I didn’t actually realise how central it was so I was very happy about this. The free sangria at 8pm every night was a very good way to get people downstairs and to socialise. I travelled solo so I particularly enjoyed this as it was an easy way to meet new people and plan the night ahead.

The worst part - the sound of lockers. So you have this card to open the room. But you use the same card to open your locker. But when someone is checking out during the night or someone comes back at night - this sound is too loud and irritates a lot.

The hostel is located in a great location and the staff is extremely helpful and nice.
