    Everything was lovely! BUT Please clean the lobby area soon as you walk in. It smells terrible. But other than that everything was nice.

    A little confusing finding it ( but Mt Pleasant is difficult to navigate!) Like fresh towels every day without asking!

    No USB ports. Food too highly priced and not great quality. Staff didn't speak English. We were charged by the hotel and also by Booking.com. Booking.com has also charged us for 4 nights instead of 3 nights.

    did not like that the pool was not working and that house keeping put bloody sheets on our bed. And the rude lady that came to change them out.

    love the hotel but it is starting to show its age. Needs a little TLC.

    Not worth the price. Breakfast was not included; the staff was okay- not very friendly. The cost was too high for what it is.

    The woman at the front desk was very rude and unable to help resolve my credit card issue. I was promised a phone call when her manager came in and I never heard from her. Heard her being rude to another customer as we left the hotel the next morning.

    The commode in the bathroom had trouble flushing.

    According to booking.com check-in was at 3:00. I arrived about 3:10. The front desk worker said my room isn’t ready and check out was at 4:00. She said she has to put all the Marriott members in rooms first. That’s understandable yet, three other friends booked rooms (the same type) as well and were put in rooms right away two of them even arrived after me and their rooms were ready. I was told I would be called or texted when my room was ready. I never received a call or text. I had to call them and it was well after 4:00. Our plan was to shower and get ready in our room for an event yet we needed to shower in a friend’s room. All interactions with the woman at the front desk were unpleasant. She was short with me and condescending. Once we did get our room, 117, it smelled terrible, like moldy. We slept fine, but packing up the next day, I grabbed a small pile of clothes that were on the floor near the ac unit and they were soaking wet. I noticed the ac unit was dripping water, which also made the carpet wet which is probably why the room smelled so bad. It was definitely not a good place for $350 (final cost) a night.

    For my needs the hotel was adequate, but I will probably use other Marriott brands in the future.

    Housekeeping was lax and came late in the day to clean. I did not let them in the second day as it was too late and I needed the room. My bed was not made the first day and towels were just left at the sink and not hung up. There was dirt on the outside of the tub that was not cleaned. There were small items on the carpet in the hall that were never picked up. The coffee maker had a cracked button and the coffee insert holder was missing. In all the room needs updating.

    The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The food offerings were also good for dinner. Lobby was updated, lovely and decorated nicely.

    The house keeping wasn't up to the usual Marriott standard that we have become accustomed to. We understand this is due to the pandemic and we are willing to make allowances. The rooms are approaching the time when they will need refurbishing. The breakfast was just OK, we recommend going to the "Flying Biscuit" or "First Watch", both are well worth the visit.

    The setting was absolutely beautiful from the palm trees ands landscaping to the privacy surrounding the property. The interior décor of the lounge area was lovely. The whole reeked of southern charm.

    I booked through Booking.com and selected a room with a balcony. I asked the front desk and was told due to me booking through Booking.com they do not honor that request. Was not happy. Check out is at 11am. Why is housekeeping coming in the room at 8am? Not happy with that.

    I like the location. The hotel was near every place i wanted to go. The front desk ladies were nice.
