Our stay at Hotel Palazzo di Valli was incredible, I could not recommend it more! The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, breakfast was delicious and the location ideal to visit Siena (parking was a big plus too!)
However, what really made it a 10/10 stay were the staff - Giacomo, Lorenzo and Susanna - who were incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The villa was lovely, set in beautiful manicured gardens. The distance from the main centre of Sienna was a bonus, as the location was tranquil. Catching a bus into the centre was a breeze with the bus stop just outside the gates. The staff were amazing. Always helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with coffees and scrambled eggs made to order. Our evening meal in the restaurant was superb.

Located among undulating meadows and Chianti vineyards, Siena shines as a jewel of the Tuscan Renaissance, and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the famous Palio di Siena horse race, catch the pulse of the city at Piazza del Campo, visit the beautiful Duomo cathedral…and fall in love with this charming city!
Founded by Etruscans around 900 BC, the city was first conquered by Romans and later by Lombards. The Middle Ages saw it becoming the independent and flourishing Republic of Siena, until its annexation to the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
The economic difficulties that followed turned out to be a blessing for the preservation of its historic centre. Adorned with frescoes by Ghirlandaio and bass-reliefs by Donatello, Lorenzo Ghiberti, and Jacopo della Quercia, the Duomo represents the highest expression of this well-kept legacy. The shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, with the Palazzo Pubblico and the Gaia Fountain, is still the heart and soul of the city. Follow the labyrinth of narrow streets and passages that irradiate from there and you will be enchanted by its romantic atmosphere from ancient times.
The closest airports are Peretola Airport in Florence and Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa, though Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna is also well connected. While planning your trip, don’t forget to check out the Siena accommodation deals on Booking.com!

This was a great location for visiting Siena and the local region. Although on a bus route the buses aren’t very frequent so it is certainly easier with a car. Parking available at the property. Good restaurant next door - but sadly not at all good for vegetarians!
The monastery on top of the hill is a must - we had a drink up there in the bar - but the food in the restaurant looked great too and was reasonably priced.
A great base for visiting Tuscany.

Beautiful city with interesting sights, but they have to do a lot more if they want to accommodate this number of tourists (especially to create or control the taxi service which is absolutely unprofessional and unreliable).

This was our most liked stop in our almost three week trip to Italy. The property and staff was amazing and they were able to recommend restaurants, arrange taxi service and especially the wine tour to the Mazzie Winery in Fonterutoli. The property was top notch, clean, quiet and would highly recommend if you are staying in Siena.

Everything! What a place.
Everything! What a place. Our favourite experience was the guided walk through the Tuscan countryside! Keko our guide was fantastic combing historic elements to modern day life with a bit of nature and wildlife thrown in. Visiting Siena was a an experience we will never forget and we hope to return someday.
Roberto is a very, friendly, attentive and helpful host. The location is in the heart of old Siena, one of the most stunning towns in Italy. The accommodation itself looks to be all newly and very tastefully constructed in within an old historical building. Everything was extremely clean and well appointed. The breakfast was superb and served with real cappuccino, made by Roberto himself. The view from my room was brilliant. Great value for money and I would not estate to recommend to other travellers.
Great stay overall - the location is supper for those who love Siena and wants to use it as a base for star trip in Tuscany, Italy. The breakfast is very rich (though more vegetables would be great) and the staff is super helpful and nice. Rooms are very big and interesting facility for those who love classic old-style hotels.
I really appreciate how the staff help us in our last day in which we left the hotel very early in the morning - great customer experience which say a lot on the superb service level
We had a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful and restful place to stay. The bathroom and beds are immaculate and comfortable. Very modern. There is a high level of hospitality here. Very warm reception. I would definitely rebook if I am lucky enough to return to Siena. Excellent communication on security codes and check-in procedures. We stayed in five different hotels during our trip to Italy but our stay in Siena was the best because this hotel is so well managed.
Everything. After our minor car accident making us late for the garage and having to park far, the staff promptly helped with our parking situation and upgraded our room with the best view in the city! The room is large with all the amenities. The breakfast is plentiful and catering to our sugar-free need. We even got a nice bottle of wine as a gift. This is the best hotel in our entire trip in Italy. The hotel itself and the service is top-notched!
We were a cycling group and this was a fantastic place to finish our trip. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Siena and this one is my favorite. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. They offered safe storage for bikes and made sure we had a taxi to the train station as it’s a bit far to walk with luggage. The location is great. In a quiet neighborhood just behind the Piazza del Campo. Look forward to coming back!
the views of the Tuscan hills off the terrace were amazing. perfect place to relax in the afternoon. great location just outside of Porta Roma. very easy to get to city center. staff are extremely helpful and friendly. lovely breakfast with a coffee bar and more Tuscan views. loved the historic building , very old world feel. would definitely return to the hotel. our favorite lodging in Italy
Really nice hotel! We were really surprised. We loved it so much! We went to 4 différents hotels in Italy the same week and it was by far the best hotel, with the best organization for breakfast due to Covid.
Room was so confortable and big enough for a family. Location is great. The city was amazing! We loved everything.
We will come back! You can easily find a parking space outside the hotel.
This hotel is in located just high on a hillside just outside the city walls high. My very spacious room had a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The hotel's location puts in within walking distance of the major sites of Siena, yet is removed enough from the busy city center to be very peaceful and quite throughout the day but especially at night.
literally EVERYTHING ! The place was safe and secure, extremely clean at all times. the host did a phenomenal job of giving me the rundown of Siena. She also had maps and brochures and gave me a great tour explaining all the amenities. The terrace they have is just magical and it open 24/7. This has been my favorite place to stay in all of Italy!
I had the best shower since being in Italy ! The bathroom is so spacious .. I loved it !
I also had the best sleep! Room is quiet and spacious.. I recommend if you are visiting Tuscany region to base your self in Siena .. bus services to the little towns is easily accessible..
Staff were friendly and so accommodating..
The DAGO farmhouse was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect for cycling the beautiful roads of Tuscany and visiting Siena. The property is gorgeous and the hosts were very hospitable and provided excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. One of our best stays in Italy!
Really nice, modern hotel. Very well located, close to train station, just outside the walls and easy walking distance to the centre, with parking available on site (at a small cost) or free in the nearby streets. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. A perfect place to stay in Siena.
Everything was perfect. We had a lot of space in our apartment. There were all necessary things in the kitchen. Air condition worked well. We arrived by car and didn’t have problems with parking. Next to the hotel locate the bus stop and you can easy to get to the center of Siena.
This hotel is in a perfect location to discover Siena! Room was large and very comfortable. They have a beautiful terrace where we drank a bottle of wine, and experienced one of the most spectacular sunsets that I have ever seen! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel Alma Domus is a little gem. While not plush, it is clean, the staff is wonderful and the location is situated close to the bus station. And the breakfast is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Siena.
Perfect location in the centre of Siena. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely homely feel. Breakfast was good value for money and beautifully presented. Loved it
The location was right outside the center, the home made breakfast was delicious, room spacious and the owner super nice and sharing cultural information about Italy and Siena! Great experience!
