We had a car from Salzburg, and it took about 80 minutes to drive to Kitzbühel. We went there for skiing and we were not disappointed. The ski lift is about a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel. The town itself is lovely, old buildings coupled with modern shopping. There's plenty of choices for restaurants and bars. We mainly ate at our restaurant, but there are other places to eat. It's a nice place to walk around, although some of the roads do not have footpaths. We would definitely come here again.

A pretty town with a Christmas market from 1 December.
A pretty town with a Christmas market from 1 December. It seemed like we were a bit pre season so some shops/bars/cafes not open yet.
Easy to navigate and hilly as you’d expect and get to by train from Innsbruk. Locals all very good English speaking and English menus - puts us to shame. Food at the top of cable car was good,

Kitzbühel - yes, there are better ski areas.
Kitzbühel - yes, there are better ski areas. Yes, I believe there are better resorts for apres-ski but as an all round, friendly, traditional, fun resort there is no better. Over 80 experiences of the town in summer and winter has given me a bit of a head start on first timers - you will not be disappointed.

While this town is best known for alpine skiing (the world-...
While this town is best known for alpine skiing (the world-famous Hahnenkammrennen downhill takes place here) it is equally awesome in the summer! The town is alive and has myriad activities to do, from hiking to cycling to simply hanging out at local restaurants, bars, and clubs. The cable car system can take you anywhere, and one of the best activities is to hike down the famous Streif alpine racing course (i.e. the Hahnenkamm), which takes about 2.5-3 hours. If you have time take a lunch break during the hike at the Seidelalm Hutte, where the food and drink are plentiful and the views perfect. In town there are many fabulous places to eat, drink, and shop. If you want the full Hahnenkamm experience make a late-night stop at The Londoner Pub, where the winner of the downhill ski race tends bar the evening after their victory (it's a lot less raucous in the summer but it's still a great place to go for a beer). The entire town is walkable - no car necessary - and frequent ÖBB train service makes this place accessible from major cities (e.g. Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna, Munich).

The ski resort is perfect for skiers.
The ski resort is perfect for skiers. However, I'm a snowboarder and have been in ones that are better. The snowparks are very small and on the side the mountains that have much less slopes. To cross to the bigger area you need to cross the river and town (about 15min walk).
Hotel is really amazing, front hotel design, the interior inside the hotel keeps the history of city, Austria itself as well as wall decoration.
Room was big, we were family of 3 person and there were quite a lot space.
Balcony view is on the mountains, that’s indeed great, every morning you can start looking to the mountains beauty.
City center is so close, I think less then 5 min.
Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful.
Ski storage is easy to rech via lift
Highly recommend this hotel and wish to return next year
Booked for the funny name ;)
its a cool place - and maybe the best in kitzbühel.
nice people staff owner and the other guests - very relaxed. had a 2 bed room as single occupant so it was very calm and comfy and they even found a parking on property for my motorbike.
a great surprise was breakfast with eggs from the chickens on the other side of the window - perfect tasty
so it was a good start for the next day hiking
all in all the impression was more a visit of friends at a student residence than a hotel stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Spacious room and bathroom with excellent shower. Delicious breakfast. Nice loaner umbrellas in each room if needed. Perfect location in the center of town but not right on the square. There was a festival going on and a hotel on the square that we almost chose had a band stage directly in front of it that played into the night. We were glad we could easily walk over to the festival but then head back a block or two to a quieter location. We would also recommend their restaurant.
The room was lovely - big, huge balcony, views, quiet end-of hallway location. The pool was incredible!! So magical doing laps while huge snowflakes fell on the glass roof. The naked sauna was an experience, but as they say, when in Rome ;) Breakfast was amazing, one of the best during our stay in Europe/UK. Free treats at reception were an added bonus :) The hotel is a little out of town but we loved the snowy trail, it's an easy walk and helped walk off our dinner!
Great facility in the great location with very friendly and warm Staff. The facility close to Horn lift, Kitzbüheler center, not far from railway station and has a nice garden with fruit trees. The room was clean and breakfast was tasty. Thanks to Tamara and her Staff. We felt like at home. On the first day we got instructions and the local maps. On the last day we got packed breakfast because we were leaving early. We will definitely stay there again.
Excellent value in Kitzbühel. A large, beautiful apartment, in a quiet residential area , with great views all around. Very gracious host, even waited at the train station for pick up late at night. I must add that I loved the provided coffee and the coffee machine, first time I booked a room with a real espresso machine , and automatic grinder :)
The location was perfect - close to the town and ski lift. The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. Breakfast and dinner had a great variety of options and the service was excellent. I would also like to thank Sarah at front desk who went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I have an exceptional experience
Great hotel all around. Superb spa and pool area, quiet saunas and enjoyable pool with very good water - no itchy eyes, even for our little one. Hearty breakfast, great service. Do go for the half-pension, the dinners are a treat and great value for money. Service is personal and friendly, very much appreciated.
The hotel was excellent. The area for leaving ski equipment was warm and spacious. The sauna area was great and the small gym a bonus. Best of all was the excellent lounge/bar area in the hotel - very well decorated and made for relaxation. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food available.
The staff were welcoming, and it felt like they wanted you there. The prices were fairly normal for a ski resort, nothing to outrageous. I had a back and neck massage in our hotel and not only was it amazing, but only cost £45. I’ve paid £100 before and had a rubbish massage, so was very happy.
Breakfast was great! Super attentive staff. Hotel is significantly nicer than the photos. Great location. Close to town but also far enough to relax. Incredibly cozy and welcoming. Photos of the family and trophy’s made it feel special. 10/10 would recommend. Easy parking.
Breakfast is nice, after ski - the hotel serve soup which is a bonus.
Location is near to the city centre, and main ski area is 10 minutes walk, but there is a ski bus that is 1 min from the hotel.
It is really perfect place for stay at Kitzbuhel.
This was third time to stay here.
Again i understand that, amazing.
Center location + very good breakfast and there is a good restaurant inside.
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff couldn’t be more lovely or helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, and the rooms were beautiful. Would come back here, 100%
The 3rd floor bar and relaxation area was the best. An open fire would be great there. Great food. Great Spa and pool area (although too much children in it).
