Good place to stay for a couple of nights before flying out.
The assistant at the check-in terminal was very kind and changed my room on the first floor to the similar room on the ground floor when I asked for this because of a big heavy suitcase that I couldn't carry to the first floor.

There were numerous restaurants, places to see performances, art, beautiful parks, Ringling Museum, shopping, and beautiful beaches. We went to Siesta Key Beach and believe that it is the widest beach with soft beautiful sand, lifeguards, beach restaurant & bar, areas to have a picnic. We are both vegan and had dinner at Ka Papa Cuisine where the food was all handmade and exceptional. The "crab" cakes made of Lion's Mane with a special coating and sauce was wonderful. The "meatloaf", mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables with a special carrot sauce on the meatloaf & potatoes and sweet sauce on the vegetables were delicious. This was the best vegan restaurant we have found in Florida!

Spent the week for our son's graduation.
Spent the week for our son's graduation. We don't like the heat, but we spend wonderful time at the Asolo Theatre for the play 12 angry men and then I visited the gorgeous Selby Gardens. If you like smaller crowds, easier parking, I recommend Lido Beach vs Siesta. We had the best pastrami in decades at the newer Palm Avenue Deli downtown. Recommend no frills excellent service and food at the Maharaja Indian Cuisine off of University Parkway. Make excellent leftovers also. For vegan options, Green Zebra Cafe downtown. For special occasions The Reserve. And let's not forget the wonderful used book stores cafe Shelf Indulgence that makes great coffee and other drinks, delicious salads and sandwiches, airport/Ringling museum area.

We really enjoyed staying in this
Apartment.
We really enjoyed staying in this
Apartment. It had everything we needed
Only complaint was that beach umbrella had no way to secure it to the ground. No screw in to ground. 2 beach chairs were great. 3 others in closet were not usable. We loved the screened in balcony. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was great. We saved a lot making our own meals. Close to beach. Easy drive to beaches.
We were very pleasantly surprised with how much we loved this place. Siesta Key in general is an amazing place to vacation, but I don't think we could have found a better place to stay. The room was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and personable, and you can't beat the location. 1 block from the beach and 1 block from the downtown area with restaurants, shops and the market. We stumbled across this location on Booking.com and kept saying throughout our stay that we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.
Location to Downtown Sarasota was great, we enjoyed a quiet walk a few different times to the local Corona cigar bar, the beach wasn't to bad but we came for Siesta key.
The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, although there was 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 3 days, there's a gas station and CVS just down the street so no big deal to get a spare roll.
The area was very quiet, and we liked that.
We took in the Mangroves Kayaking tour during our stay, that was a blast and worth the price.
Great pool area. Loved the 50's vibe and appreciate preserving this authentic vintage property. Room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Perfect for short stay. Great value! The king bed was comfy and TV and A/C worked great. Very good morning coffee in lobby. The location is very convenient to all Sarasota amenities. The Ringling Museum campus and Asolo Theatre are few blocks away. A "do not miss" attraction! However, the beaches are not walking distance. Sunnyside Cafe, 2 blocks away, was exceptional.
I came to Sarasota to visit my daughter, who was at Ringling School of Art and Design. The place was 4 minutes from the airport and from the college. It was close to the beach and right next to a small Walmart, a CVS, and a Walgreens. The interior of the house was perfect. The beds were super comfy with different types of pillows for different people. The living area was large and cosy and the kitchen was easy to use. All around, a spectacular and easy three days.
The views are amazing and we really liked the atmosphere. I was really surprised at how much detail they put into the hotel grounds, sitting areas were beautiful by the water. Really nice touches! And all the staff were so friendly especially our receptionist and breakfast gentleman. I'm terrible with names but they were a hoot and always made us feel very comfortable! We had a room with a slider start to the docks, like feet away. So that was awesome!
I arrived at the hotel early and I was able to check in to my room earlier than the required time. Christine was very friendly at the front desk and very accommodating. The pool areas are very lush and tropical and are surrounded by hammocks and swings. During the evening there are fire pits for your enjoyment. There is a beautiful scent of jasmine all throughout the property. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning
A nice clean hotel with a good pool having a view over the inner harbour. We had a room with a balcony and inner harbour view which helped with the whole experience. Breakfast was included in the deal which was good quality and a good idea as there were few immediate other options nearby. However a 15 minute walk will get you into an area with many restaurants.
OMG where do I start!! A beautiful, clean, super friendly, accommodating hotel in a great location. Close to downtown, beaches and great restaurants. Clean and quite are two very important things for me at a hotel and this hotel was both. Breakfast was awesome. The staff was the friendliest we have encountered in all our travels. A very nice adequate pool area.
The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included with hot food.
Culver's restaurant was across the road and had good food very reasonably priced.
The shower was very large and had great water pressure.
Beautiful pool area with beach entry.
The pool area and price are the real sellers to this location. Also, located perhaps 10 mins to the downtown of Sarasota. It is a dated property however very well maintained. The Tiki bar was a nice addition for a night cap and when we stayed there was a food truck there.
This hotel was new, clean and convenient to downtown Sarasota, Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key and St. Armand’s Circle. The breakfast was wonderful Room is modern and has a unique layout. Pool are was okay , lacks seating. This is a great value for the price!
Room was awesome! Pool area on the top of the hotel roof had a beautiful view, had a few drinks and swam!! Property was very nice. Rode bikes around the neighborhood, we received 2 hours free on the bikes with coupons we got from the hotel.
Hotel & grounds were neat & clean, & well taken care of. The staff was friendly. Very nice breakfast. The location was good for what we needed. We will definitely return if we go back to that area.
Very good accommodation and reception and breakfast areas. Cleanliness exceptional. At last a hotel with proper and sensible house keeping. Most of all the friendliness of staff.
Great location close to SRQ airport and downtown Sarasota. Nice to have keurig coffee maker in the room, but would be good to offer better coffee choice than maxwell house pod.
Very attentive staff. Beautiful pool area. Nice pub on property with live music and a food truck. Rooms were basic beach hotel rooms but clean and set up well.
