The property exceeded my expectations, the hotel is way bigger than I thought it would be. The staff are all so friendly and really hard working each and every one of them in particular Clara she was fantastic from checking us in to helping us with the bus timetable and showing us all the hotspots on the island . The hotel has 3 swimming pools (1 big pool the main one, 1 smaller and 1 kids paddle pool) the hotel rooms are modern and very spacious the hotel is SPOTLESSLY clean!
They have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant buffet style but there are options for everyone and I between the meal times and all throughout the day they have a pool snack bar which is stocked with pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, chips and fresh fruits and pastries.
The 24 hour snack bar is basic but good enough for a “snack” sandwiches and cakes but you won’t ever go hungry that’s for sure!
Best hotel I have stayed in Europe and I was surprised at how well they do all inclusive. Already looking at booking another stay in a few months. Value for money is 10/10 and the fact this property is only rated a 3 star is crazy very very least should be a 4 star.

If you come to Playa del Ingles you have to remember it's not only a beach holiday but also one of Europe's largest gay nightlife scenes. So if your offended by camp, drag queens, leather guys, pride festivals and so on book a 1* static caravan in Prestatyn instead. If your not you're welcome, and welcomed. Some great venues for everybody of whatever sexuality, identity and age et al. There are some men only venues and let's be honest if you not a gay or bi man then you'd rather not want to know so just move on and likewise outside the Yumbo area there are straight swingers clubs.

Have been visiting for many years and has an all year round good climate. Some areas are now looking a bit tired and there are many empty shops in the various shopping centres. The Kasbah has closed down completely and is derelict. Many of the hotels are a long way from the beach so a pool and sunbeds is really required.

Relaxed and informal resort with lots of places to eat at various price levels and plenty of bars ranging from pubs to swish cocktail bars.
Clientele is mixed British/European with a large LGBT community.
It is not a pretty resort - pretty much everything is concrete but softened by lots of trees. Many places are in unattractive concrete shopping centres dating back to the 1980s.
Prices are generally good and get better if you head up to San Fernando in the Spanish speaking part of town where there are lots more lovely restaurants and big supermarkets.
Everywhere is very easy to walk and the resort is on a slight incline down to the sea.
There is an excellent bus service which takes you around the island for just a few euros and is definitely worth exploring.
Walk along the seafront to San Agustin is recommended and there are some high end shops in the Faro (lighthouse) area of town which is about 15 minutes bus ride away.

Mostly purpose built for tourism so there's plenty of accommodation available - shop around. Ample bars, restaurants, many with entertainment at night. You could just stay in PDI but I'd recommend renting a car and go visit other towns and villages around the island - there are some real gems, such as Agaete, Teror, Puerto de Mogan, Charco de la Aldea, to name a few.

Near to shops and restaurants and bars.
Near to shops and restaurants and bars. Only complaint we had was that the footpaths were dangerous. The pavements were shiny and slippery (in the dry weather), in some places they were uneven and I saw a lady slip and fall.

Playa del Ingles: you either love it or hate it.
Playa del Ingles: you either love it or hate it. We are somewhere in between: it is useful that there are all kinds of facilities, but it is far from authentic, everything is made for tourists, only tourists stay there, to find an original 'local' you have to search for a long time . On the other hand, it is a sunny place and a good base for going inland, towards the mountains and canyons of San Bartelomé, Santa Lucia, Roque Nublo, etc.

Anamar apartments is in a great location, minutes from the yumbo centre yet in a secluded area of Gran Canaria. You don't realise you are so close to the Yumbo. The hotel was great for sunbathing, the staff were friendly and loved the idea of being able to stop the maid for several days. Too often in hotels, the maid comes every day and really the room never needs that frequency.
It was nice that the hotel has cabana beds that a freely available and there was never a fight for a place to sunbathe and chill out with friends.
All was great! Hotel is located close to the beach, there is a shop right next to it. Staff is very professional and polite. All inclusive option was definitely worth the price - the selection of food and drink is huge and every day for dinner there is a different cuisine served (optionally) - Asian, local etc.
I loved the rooftop bar with amazing view and jacuzzis! There are also sport activities offered (i didn’t join but I saw the schedule) as well as live music and flamenco shows. I fully recommend this hotel!
I like all aspects of this hotel It is exceptionally comfortable with good beds and an excellent breakfast awaiting guests each morning. The front of house staff at reception, breakfast staff and all other departments are always cheerful, happy and welcome guest with a happy disposition. The location is great and only few minutes walk to the Yumbo centre. I have stayed here previously for me this is my no 1 favourite hotel here in Playa del Ingles. Well done all at the Neptuno. See you again very soon.
A lot of different food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, . There were lots of options to eat. Not everything is tasty but you can definitely find what you like the most. Apart from that I would highlight thoughtful navigation across the hotel. There are 2 principal swimming pools. Next to them you have a snack bar to quickly eat something like pizza or a small burger. The family room is also quite big enough.
I could not fault my stay at this lovely Boutique style Hotel, it has a great chilled vibe and every detail is well thought out from the staff uniforms to the decor through out.
The breakfast was excellent with relaxed times and great produce and choice, l highly recommend this hotel and like to thank the Manager and his team for making my first holiday in Gran Canaria a memorable one.
it was a lovely hotel in a nice location. Ideal if you want to be in a less touristy place than the heart of Playa Del Ingles. The food was ok but not always hot enough for our liking. That said the staff always made sure there was all choices available for the day. The room was lovely with a great sea view. Room was very clean with all necessary facilities.
The food and drinks available on the all inclusive was amazing (however we were given the all inclusive plus option as a courtesy which included a range of more drinks.
The staff overall was very friendly and helpful.
Thumbs up at the buffet and bar.
The area at rooftop was excellent, the best place to enjoy in the hotel.
We like everything. The front desk staff was exceptional. The restaurant and pool staff equally exceptional. Housekeeping? Fantastic! Location is beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. If you are staying in the Playa del Ingles area and don't take advantage of this hotel then you are missing out.
The hotel is in a perfect location- only couple of minutes from the beach. The superior room and it's balcony were surprisingly big. Bottle of water and wine was waiting for me in the room. The staff is very friendly. Pool area on the 5th floor, sun until afternoon. The room was kept very clean.
This place was close to the dunes of Maspalomas and fairly close to the Playa del Ingles. The balcony with table was a nice place to sit in the evenings. There is a shop just 10 meters from the hotel where you can buy food and drinks, shampoos, even clothes and slippers.
Excellent hotel with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Gran Canaria.
The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good, the pool is fantastic and there are lots of activities for when you want to stay in.
I can only recommend this hotel for its incredible value.
I come here every year , the hotel is just what you need in Gran Canaria . I never stayed somewhere else . The premier rooms are lovely , comfortable beds , pool is lovely and they always accommodate late check out at a decent prince . See you next year PSD !
This resort was a great value for an all inclusive resort vacation. There is almost always something to eat. The place was clean, staff was friendly, and it had good amenities. Shuttles to beaches were good and close to public transportation.
Everything we needed for a two weeks stay. Excellent position for the beach abd the entertainment in Playa Del Ingles. Staff very attentive, cleaning done every second day. Also enjoyed the pool and the buns hung by the door every morning.
Comfortable room, good food, really great variety of All inclusive drinks, 20 steps from the beach.
No words, I'll just return :)
PS nothing bad to say about hotel or people, but please mind, that 'adults only' might be 70+ also :)
The location of the hotel is good nearby restaurant and shopping centre. Short walk to stairs leading to playa del Inglés strip area. Good swimming pool heated.
