A Fairytale Place

There are several options to visit. The castle, the lake. So many opprtunities to ski sports, walk in the forests. Waterfall, beautiful lakes not only the Bled one. Wonderful, beautiful. But it was raining all the time, so we couldn´t see everything what we want. The small "island" on lake is perfect. Very recommended. And people are so friendly there....

Amazingly beautiful. So much to see. The boat trip was great. Walk up to castle was tough but so worth it. The blue color of the lake was breathtaking. One if the most beautiful places I have ever been to.

Fabulous apartment! Very clean and exactly as described. Would recommend as there is a grocery store across the road and not too far to the recommended pubs and dining. Great host meets you when you arrive plus the bonus of private parking. Thanks so much Cathy

Nice restaurant with an open terraсe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with the famous local "Bled cake". The terrace has direct view on the island right in front. You can find it on all pictures of Slovenian attractions. The hotel itself moves you back to the years of Marshal Tito. Some pictures on walls of the Vila Bled make you feel like in a museum of communist Yugoslavia. At the same time the service is very welcoming and you feel like an honoured guest.

The hotel provides free and safe parking. The Bled Lake is not so far, but we were always going by car because of the kids. Our room was spacious enough, so we had a really good rest. The terrace was very large and our kids loved spending time there. Also, there are plenty of toys and games for kids in the lobby, which was really cool. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

Truly one of the best vantage points for a hotel at the lake. Was very impressed by the large and sunlit indoor pool, filled with natural water from the region, soft on the skin whilst swimming, also with wonderful views of the lake. The building itself is located in a village close to Lake Bled (an easy bike, slightly longer walk) that is quiet and beautiful. The facility is new and meticulously clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and generous, clearly made with care and love by the family that runs House Troha. We used the sauna and it was a delight on a snowy January night.

The breakfasts at the hotel were absolutely excellent. We also tried the hotel restaurant and can only recommend it. From the point of view of the location of the hotel, it's perfect - with a view of the lake, the island and Bled Castle.
