Ordino is a picture postcard village, with a number of smaller villages and hamlets dotted all the way up the valley towards the Arcalis ski area.
Each village/hamlet has its own local bar(s) and restaurant(s). Ordino being larger has a few more. The town of La Massana is 2 km from Ordino and is well provided for shopping and nightlife options.
The skiing and snowboarding at Arcalis is excellent. Being north-facing and above 8000 feet the season generally lasts longer than the other Andorran areas. Facilities are first class.
Runs cater from complete beginner to freeride expert and much in between. It's a great wee ski area in a beautiful part of the world.
Summertime offers myriad hillwalking and trekking routes.
The hotel is very charming and we had a beautiful room view.
The staff is very nice and friendly.
The food is excellent !! One of the best diner I have ever had and the restaurant is very beautiful. The waiter was very helpful and kind ! Big up !! And the menu is only 17€ per person and it includes an aperitif, a starter, a main course and a dessert !
The breakfast is very good as well ! You have a large choice !
The SPA is a must !! 21€ per person and you will have a 90min tour !
Go ahead!
Thank you for this stay !
It's very cozy, comfortable and fully furnished apartment close to Ordino Arcalís ski resort. Inside you can find all what you just can imagine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, 3 TV's, even the iron! All is brand new. Owner is very helpful and friendly person. We were late for check in, but he was waiting for us, help with registration and also let us late check out without any additional fees. Take a look, if you have electro car, they have charger for it in garage!
The staff were very friendly, the dinner was very tasty, the breakfast was really good, the room was lovely (and clean) and they upgraded our room, as they were quiet the night we stayed. The location was extremely peaceful and pretty much the closest hotel to Arcalís. Perfect for our two day getaway. We didn't experience the spa, but I know they had one.
Wa had a nice stay in Abba Ordino Babot. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet place on the mountains over Ordino, surrounded by amazing forests, lovely gardens and beautiful views. The rooms are a bit old but still nice, clean and confortevole. The staff gentle and kind. I would come back for sure.
Certainly out of the ski season, this is a good value hotel. Breakfast has enough food and drink to be filling and it is decent enough. The staff are friendly, don't appear to speak much English, but happy to try and converse. There is a small free car park that again out of ski season appears to be big enough.
The best part of the stay was the beautiful and breathtaking view of the mountains and landscape that I saw from my balcony every day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They also speak several languages which, English, Spanish, and French, were some of the few that I recognized.
Gorgeous location overlooking El Serrat. The hotel is a beautiful in the setting and the mountain view from the back side and rushing stream are enchanting.. The room was spacious and clean. I had breakfast and dinner included, and both were delicious.
The hotel has nice mountain vibes, the served dinner really was excellent, the common areas are cute. If you are looking for a calm hotel in the mountains, you will enjoy it here. The rooms were clean, make sure to ask for a balcony.
This place was right on par with expectations. An inexpensive option for lodging with a super friendly staff, easy check in, and an amazing view. We went running in the morning on trails right next to the hotel.
We had a great stay in Ordino because of this hotel with freindly staff. We also managed to visit Andorra la Vella and El Pas De La Casa as the bus station is near to the hotel.
Good views higher up in the valley but a bit isolated. Good location for exploring Andorra. Good breakfast that was included. Comfortable bed and English news channels on TV.
good location to walk (path and river directly behind the hotel). very friendly and helpful staff. evening meal rice dish was really really good, and unexpected quality
