The Royal Sonesta is an excellent value compared to other Yorkville hotels with similar amenities. Check in was a breeze and the service was excellent. Our room was well appointed, clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. A chef-prepared breakfast was included with our rate.

We arrived from France in the evening and needed a hotel overnight as we had another flight the next afternoon. Old styled , clean and quiet. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. It is close to the airports and at a moderate price. Although we didn’t eat there due to our late arrival, the restaurant and bar were open later. There is a free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes. Concierge and Shuttle staff were helpful with the many bags we had.
Bed was comfortable.

It is not nice, you do not sleep, there is a lot of talking on the phone in the hall, and the room has a pipe of water in the bathroom, and when I arrived at the apartment, he said to me, “Give me 100€ as a guarantee for a bad apartment.”

It was my first visit in Canada , and my first NHL game in Toronto .
The apartment is on the 48th floor, next to the Scotiabank Arena.
Toronto has a great transport system as you can take not only the subway and tram but also the train to wherever you want to go by taxi, so it was great.
What I didn't know was that Toronto has a secret life, and that's the areas under the buildings where let you walk all over downtown, unaffected by the weather. This area is full of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and other shops.
CN tower was really highly, scary but the view from there was beautiful.
Niagara Falls ohhh was beautiful and powerful.

Ate on Dupont Street - lots of casual places with character. Transit very easy to navigate. Coffee and gelato excellent at Mizzica's. Would not bother with Hockey Hall of Fame - far too corporate and NHL -oriented.

It was over 40 years between visits to Canada and my first time in Toronto, it did not dissapoint. Toronto is a big city and you are spoilt for choice with where to stay. We stayed downtown as it was close to conference venue. You will want to spend time exploring the different neighbourhoods and if you get time, I would recommend a tip down to Hamilton and to Niagra. All serviced by the clean and reliable GO trains from Union station. Cose to the city I recommend walking through Kensington Market - which is a district rather than a market. On the weekend this place is heaving. You have a pletohra of great restaurants and a people watching paradise. Closer to downtown, a walk along King and Queen streets will reward you with street art, quirky shops, some of the best vintage stores I have been in and food options galore. Can also recommend a wander through Chinatown (Between Queen St and Kensington Market. The Distillery District is worth a look if you have time. The old distillery makes for an interesting backdrop to new residental buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. The UP trains from the airport (Pearson) to the city are your best option to get into the city. Around $12 and about 25 minutes - well worth it and a lot cheaper than taxis and Uber. Enjoy!
Great UPDATED modern rooms. Best thing about this place was NO carpet in room much cleaner sleeker feel. Shower and bed were fantastic. Staff were alright and granted a late check out. Breakfast is good. Also you can walk to one of the best burger joints in town Burgers Priest. Handy location to airport and downtown but definitely in industrial part of town but like I said it has a lot of food options within walking distance. The exterior of the hotel is like any other 2 star but the rooms are 4 star for sure.
It has a great location, with everything at walking distance. It took us a couple of days to learn the TTC system (public transportation). After that, it was really easy to move around and get to places in Downtown Toronto. The reception staff was really friendly and the staff at the restaurant were very attentive too. The beds were comfortable, although smaller than other hotels (Full instead of Queen). The toiletries provided were of great quality (Dove) and we had no need to ask for extra after 4 days.
As hotels in downtown Toronto are extremely expensive, Filmore´s Hotel is both affordable and close to the Dundas / Yonge attractions. The outward appearance of the building matches its tired age, but inside the rooms are comfortable and serve their purpose.
Single men looking for an evening´s entertainment can be treated to an erotic show, chatting to friendly girls and more. Those not interested in such things, on the other hand, would be hardly aware of any of this going on.
My recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown was exceptional. The staff's warm hospitality and professionalism were remarkable. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Toronto allowed for easy exploration - close to walking distance touristic attractions and to subway station, buses and streetcar lines. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. This hotel is a definite winner, and I highly recommend it.
Good location — a little far from downtown Toronto, but the hotel is about a 5 minute walk to Downsview Park station (there is also a great little coffee shop across the street). Rooms were spacious and I didn’t have any problems with noise aside from occasionally hearing thumping above. The lady at reception was very friendly and pleasant to interact with.
This hotel is near airport. We booked this hotel twice (as we arrived toronto and we left toronto). There is a shuttle bus from airport to hotel every 30min. The beds are very big & comfortable. From airport there is train to union station (takes about 30min.) This time we had a room on 13th floor & we had a very nice view to see the airport.
the location is amazing. It is in the Heart of Downtown Toronto with very easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping locations.
The staff at check in are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very neat and clean; however, I did not see an In-room dining menu in the room. I never found one throughout my 5 days stay at the hotel.
The location was interesting. We had two great meals within a 1 block walk of the hotel without even trying. Not my usual Toronto experience. Usually I stay downtown. This self-named "Drake-like" hotel at $400cdn a night, with an 18th floor view of Canada's most multicultural city would be fun. and it was, however.......
Getting a bit older now but this is the second or third time I’ve stayed here. The location is amazing and central to downtown Toronto. Everything is quite accessible.
But I do love the hotel the staff as super helpful and friendly.
I will return at some point again when business calls
The location of the hotel in the heart of Downtown Toronto was excellent. St. Lawrence Market is just steps away, and we could easily access the historic distillery district as well as the downtown core. The room was clean, staff friendly and would happily stay there again.
Perfect location to explore downtown Toronto by foot or Uber. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, having fresh made omelets was a bonus. The filtered water on every floor was a very nice touch. Rooms were quiet, the only noise came from out on the street.
As a repeat visitor I have become friends with some of the staff. I like the sense of a home away from home. Having a small refrigerator and microwave in each suite is very unique for a downtown Toronto hotel. This is great for cold drinks and small meals and snacks.
The hotel is in downtown Toronto, which was what I was looking for. The room was a generous size and the bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable for the location. The staff were helpful. Storing my bag for a few hours was not a problem.
I like the location very near to everything. This is my go to hotel whenever im in Downtown Toronto. But there was a recent incident happened towards one of their staff.—— very rude front desk staff named Tristan.
Very Quiet. Great location near the Eaton center. Price was ok for downtown Toronto. Convenient public parking across the road (or hotel parking if need in and out). Nice King size bed, Lots of restaurants nearby.
Location, location, location. This condo is all about location, located in downtown of Toronto, best neighborhood in the area. Walking distance to museums, boutiques, restaurants, bars, etc. Love the area!
Location is a must if you want to explore downtown Toronto. Lots of options for food and drink nearby. The hotel has parking spaces. Clean and spacious room. Stunning view of Lake Ontario.
The hotel is located in one of the cleanest and safest parts of the city, connected to deeper downtown Toronto by the College subway station. Plenty of things to do around.
It is a very large hotel. Location is in Toronto downtown, walking distance to Younge-Dundas Square. Beds were comfortable. View from balcony was great.
