Set in South Lake Tahoe, 700 metres from Lakeside Beach, Desolation Hotel offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The location of the property is fairly central with the strip/casinos nearby. The rooms have nice finishes with the balcony tub being a nice touch. Maggie’s restaurant for brunch is a must, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We look forward to coming back.

Nestled in the trees on the historic Lake Tahoe west shore in Tahoe Park, this cozy adults only bed and breakfast is just steps from a private Lake Tahoe beach. I'm pretty picky when I pick hotels and cabins. When I'm in a forest I always go for whatever gives me the most cottage core vibe and the ratings also said about great breakfest quality so we picked this. It's more expensive than I usually go for but the quality that came with it made everything sooooo worth it. The moment I pulled up day one I knew I made a good choice. And the breakfest is homemade every day and is different each day!!! I recommend this place to any and everyone. It will be worth your time and money ❤️❤️❤️

We all really liked the hospitality of the owners and the wonderful house. It was like visiting some good old friends. Great views of Mount Shasta and close proximity to the lake. The delicious breakfast exceeded our expectations. The special treat surprised and pleased no less. We have already managed to tell our friends about this magical hotel and wonderful people who created an unforgettable atmosphere of love and harmony. Thanks Kris and David.
