This family-friendly hotel in the Marchwald Forest is 5 minutes from the A5 motorway and a 10-minute drive from Freiburg city centre. Location was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Big parking lot.

Was traveling with a friend and it was very convenient that we were able to get to this room at 0100 in the morning and be able to get they key very easily and get straight to bed after a long day. The room was great, and the location was awesome, only a 15 to 20 minute walk to everything in the heart of Freiburg.

Penthouse-Appartements am Güterbahnhof is situated in the Herdern district of Freiburg im Breisgau, 2.1 km from the old town. Colmar is 37 km from the property. Everything. Nothing to complain about. The most beautiful and peaceful apartment with the view and all the amenities nearby

Despite being close to the action, the hotel is nestled in a peaceful area, offering a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The **rooms** are spacious, spotlessly clean, and elegantly decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and thoughtful touches like a well-stocked minibar and fast Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. The view from the window was simply breathtaking—a picture-perfect scene! Breakfast was a real highlight. The **buffet** featured a wide variety of fresh, locally-sourced options, providing the perfect start to the day. The restaurant staff were always courteous, attentive, and eager to ensure everything was just right. What truly set this hotel apart was the **staff**: professional, friendly, and always ready with helpful tips for exploring the city and nearby attractions. Their genuine dedication to making guests feel at home was evident throughout my stay. The **additional amenities**, such as a cozy spa and private parking, added a layer of convenience and luxury. It’s rare to find a hotel that strikes such a perfect balance between comfort, elegance, and outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Freiburg.
