Funny Monkeys is the perfect home stay located in Phong Nha. It was clean, our room was comfortable and provided all the necessities for a 2 night stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, assisting us in organising taxi transfers and booking a tour to the caves. Funny Monkeys is situated right on the riverside which makes for a beautiful back drop and the resident dog, Coca is adorable. I also appreciated the laundry service provided by the staff, and the communications with Thuy prior to our arrival. Phong Nha is our favourite location so far in our travels through Vietnam and this is definitely attributable to the wonderful stay we had in Funny Monkeys. Added bonus: the home stay is environmentally conscious and tries to reduce waste which is important to me as a consumer.

- They picked us up from the bus on motorbikes (probably won’t work if you have suitcases but we had backpacks!) - Helped us when we got food poisoning with medicine and bananas - Playing tag with the little kids was fun - Organised a cheap taxi to Dong Hoi for us cos there was no bus for a long time - The view from our room was SPECTACULAR - The bathroom is really big and there was everything we needed - The beds were really big and comfy - Organised cheap scooter for us for 150k per day

飯店景色怡人環境優美，店家自己種植很多漂亮的植物，黃昏夜晚之際，都會有陣陣撲鼻花香；最棒的是周邊一望無際的稻田和綠色風景，搭配寬敞的游泳池，夜晚與家人玩水時有種沐浴在星空下的氛圍，非常棒。另外飯店的餐點也是很好吃，整體令人感覺放鬆愉悅。

Very friendly. Host had taken care about all of our questions and needs. He advised professionally and the tours we booked/made with him had been satisfying touroughly. Whatever time we came we got something to eat. We never felt under pressiour and it was a very comfortable and save to stay, be and plan adventures from his place. The room was nice, clean, small but sufficient. The view amazing. The building (and the rooms) the best in town. He used containers and decorated the rooms very creative and nice. In my opinon it is the only "see/river-side" room in town.
