The Blossom Kumamoto is most accessible from Kumamoto Station and connects to the mall. It’s Front Office is very picturesque, with mountains of Kumamoto as backdrop. FO staff has good command of the english language, making communication less difficult. They are not shy to greet guests passing to and fro. Upon inquiry, staff recommended “Liebe” as “steak place,” and we had a blast! Steak was very good and not expensive, allowing us to bring our own wine upon payment of minimal corkage…bravo! The hotel is very secured with a big main door that requires guests’ keycards to open it and an elevator that automatically sets guests to their respective floors. Rooms have separate toilet and bath, well-provided with amenities/toiletries and it is possible to open the window to let Kumamoto’s cool winter breeze (brrrrr🥶) in. There are english-speaking channels available and coffee at the lounge is free-flowing.

We had an amazing time and evening with them and the other guests. We also were helped out with a vegeterian dinner since the restaurants nearby did not offer such an option. Our unexpected highlight of the trip!

It’s a very beautiful house with an amazing and welcoming owner! We loved the location and the room, very big and as described! We will be back! Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

Το 藤のヴィラ パイン棟 Self Check-in είναι ένα κατάλυμα με κήπο και βεράντα. Easy 10 min walk from Uchinomaki station, so accessible also without a car (just watch the train schedule since trains are only once per hour or so). This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.

What an incredible place to have stay. We feel so lucky to have met the hosts and been able to stay in this amazing home. Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our only wish is that we had stayed even longer.

Το Spacious One Room Apartment for up to 5ppl w Kitchenette - space kuhonji προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi και κλιματισμό. Love the place. Space is more than enough for 4 people. The owner is very thoughtful in terms of providing useful amenities. Location is also good, close to many parking lots, walkable to shopping streets and restaurants.

Super thankful to be accommodated as a solo traveler. The host and staff are very nice and thoughtful. I was amazed by the interior design, and selection of refreshments/drinks/books here, everything is crafted in details and I can feel their efforts and seriousness. It’s truly impressive to be staying in a historical building and surrounded by wood, while enjoying the neat environment and modern design of shared bathroom. This’s also a good location for people who want to slow down and prefer less busy areas. Walkable distance to tram and JR stations, and the nearby area of Shirakawa River’s definitely nice for a walk. And don’t forget to order fine sake by 9pm if you’d like to taste more!

Το 藤のヴィラ チェリー棟 Self Check-in είναι ένα κατάλυμα με κήπο και βεράντα. We arrived in the evening, in the downpour and darkness, feeling lost in the middle of nowhere. A cozy cottage was waiting for us: with heating on, beautifully furnished to the smallest details, very clean, very well equipped, comfortable. Just perfect. Due to an accident with a broken car window, we had a pleasure to meet the host. He helped us complete the formalities, secured the car for the rest of our journey and made sure that the remnants of glass wouldn’t have hurt anyone or anything. It is difficult to express how grateful we are and we regret that we cannot give a higher rating

Fantastic welcoming by the host, we opted for the BBQ option and went grocery shopping using the bikes of the hotel - all of it was great fun! The bed was also very comfortable.
