The chalet is right on the beach, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful, private atmosphere. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in La Digue. What truly made the experience exceptional was our host, Christopher. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless—helping us arrange bikes, taxis, and anything else we needed. His hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. This was easily one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Super nice surroundings, clean and spacious. Host was very nice and helpful. We were provided with a storage for our luggage and a shower before departure which was super nice. You can rent a bike during your stay for a nice price. Do recommend.

Photos need updating bc I wasn’t expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean it was! We stayed in the back one on the left when facing it. Very spacious! Comfy bed AC great WiFi good. Peaceful and cozy felt right at home. Has beach access and is beautiful! Has everything you would need and provided water for 50 Sr which was so convenient. No need to go rent bikes they have them there. They gave my daughter a bottle of wine for her birthday! Felt very safe! Store and eateries in walking distance. Can’t go wrong staying here! The lanai was my fave spot and the orange birds and “chickens?” came right up on it. This is true island vibes! Loved the villa and the property is kept very pristine. Location is fantastic! Very short bike ride to grand anse entrance and anse source d’argent (in the park). She ordered a punctual taxi for pickup to jetty!

The bungalow was very nice, spacious, bright and located in a big beautiful garden. Stefania the host was very friendly and very helpful with the bicycle rental. The bungalow got nicely cleaned every day. We really enjoyed our stay and warmly recommend YlangYlang.

It’s like staying in the middle of the jungle treetops. Absolutely fantastic! Especially staying in the open rooms like Sinbad! It comes with all of the jungle one should have in mind. The sounds, early light and warm breeze comes with the package which add to the charm😉

Breakfast was excellent: tasty and versatile (each day there were toasts, pancakes, strawberry jam, an assortment of fruit - banana, papaya, orange - as well as omelette/scrambled eggs/fried eggs and tea/coffee to choose from). The staff is very nice, polite and helpful (e.g. when my trousers got dirty with bike grease, the receptionist had them washed for me, returning spotless and ironed or a waiter had a breakfast prepared for me in five minutes when one morning I was in a rush). The localization is very good, close to the beach Anse Severe, which is a perfect spot for watching sunsets, snorkelling or having a snack or drink at one of the beach bars. The bungalow was spacious and well-furnished with air-conditioning in the bedroom. The acommodation has a bike rental service at an acceptable price of 150 SCR per day per person.

Το Le Surmer Self Catering Chalets βρίσκεται στο νησί La Digue και προσφέρει θέα στην παραλία Anse Reunion. I loved our stay in La Digue, and this accommodation is a good base for exploring the island. The chalet was very clean. We could rent good quality bikes right at the property. Breakfast was ok, but I would have loved a cappuccino :)

La Digue Island Lodge has its own diving centre on Anse Reunion Beach. A sun terrace overlooking the ocean sits by the pool with swim-up bar. Location to Union Estate and La Digues top beach. Top quality staff organised Vinod, to taxi us across to Grand Anse for the 3 bay hike and up the road towards top of highest mountain. .
