The chalets were beautiful. It was clean. The decor was great. The view from the veranda was spectacular. The food at the property was exceptional. The three-course dinner was phenomenal. The breakfast was extraordinary. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The property was a short walk to two beaches. My friend and I, we had separate chalets, liked Monte Mar so much that we stayed a second night. Great value for money too.

I stayed in Eco-Por my last two days in São Tomé. It was just perfect. Felt like I am in middle of tropical forest and I was alone. Beautifully designed, clean home. I had an accident on my way there, ended up in hospital couple of hours as I broke my leg. Arrived there in a taxi with plastered leg. The staff (Rodrigo) did everything to make sure I was okay, checked on me every few hours, brought me me food from village. I managed to get rest in my way long journey home. Place has, I believe no restaurant etc but next to a big village for any need. Couldn’t walk around the area but sitting on my private terrace, looking down to river and listening the nature really made stay there. Breakfast was not included but staff (Fabio, his name I think) made very nice breakfast my two morning there. Many fruit, juice, hot drink, letter and fresh bread was more than enough. Ned was on hard side but was comfortable for me. WiFi, aircon, mini fridge worked very well. It was a perfect way of ending my active holiday in São Tomé.

But the BEST was the treatment from the owner Joana and his college Eloy that were super helpfull all the time. They help in all we ask and during the stay they were asking about our stay every couple of days. We Will definetily o back when going to this beautifull island Sao tomé Was a super nice trip Thanks a lot Joana and Eloy for everything
