Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. Clifden is a small but mighty town in west of Ireland.
Clifden is a small but mighty town in west of Ireland. Some great pubs with fantastic live music in the evenings and nighttime. Must mention Ravis and Lowrys in particular. Only downside is very little options for breakfast earlier than 9.30/10am at weekends which surprised us!Guest review byAiméeIreland

But we got a beautiful set up in one of the nearby sitting rooms. Really nice views, kind staff, lovely cocktails. The bar area was my favourite with a big open fire :) We were unaware the Clifden Arts Festival was on, so the room was really good value for money and the hotel provided taxi numbers if we needed them.
