I just found it unnecessary when you pay for the stay and still leave a deposit of €100 to be able to stay. As I couldn't use my international card, I paid in cash and they asked for a deposit of €100 in addition to the payment to stay.

It's value for money. Facilities are new, room was comfortable. Lots of parking places near the hotel but remember to pay during its enforcement time. 10min walking distance to the center. It's a decent hotel that I would stay if I come to Dublin again.

The hotel is location is so central, everything is in walking distance with the Luas just outside. The room itself is compact and has modern and convenient amenities, while also being very stylish and comfortable. There were two young ladies at reception when we checked in who gave us recommendations of what to do in the area and we're so friendly and helpful. The staff the next morning at reception were the same and took our bags to store for us until we caught our train in the evening. The stay was such good value that my partner expected us to turn up to a hostel and he was shocked when he seen the hotel. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed 8 days in the hotel, first in a family room with our daughter and then in a double room. Everything from A to Z was amazing. One of the nicest stay experiences I've had in my life. The staff was courteous and ready to provide solutions to any problem. The restaurant is unique and the food is excellent. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. I will definitely be back someday.

    The hotel located right next to the airport was perfect for...

    The hotel located right next to the airport was perfect for us to just crash after a long travel and the public transportations available right outside to the city served as a perfect opportunity to view the city as we traveled to the heart of it. The bar and diner inside the hotel was a life saver! The staff were very polite friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was prompt and friendly and just 3 minutes to the airport and was hassle free to start our journey again. We felt very comfortable. The location was safe, quiet was worth the price.

    My visits to the Clayton Cloghran are now irregular due to retirement but it’s just top marks for all the services and all the staff. The easy key collection service is wonderful. I couldn’t find any fault with the services and it’s a place for a perfect rest, in a very comfy bed, before travelling abroad

    I always stay at the Cloghran the day before flying out of...

    I always stay at the Cloghran the day before flying out of Dublin...it makes it so much easier than the hecticness of the long trip to the airport then flying out the the same day. Arriving at the hotel, having a nice meal, and a comfortable bed takes the hectic ness out of travel.
