Το DoroKa Nubian House βρίσκεται στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 19 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. It’s value for money, the staff were all warm and accommodating! Ahmad, the manager helped us arranged the excursions to Abu Simbel and to Luxor. It all went well and felt safe. Both trips require us to get up early, they were so nice to pack up breakfast meals for us. We tried to have dinner and it was delicious, we enjoyed the meat tagine in particular, similar taste to moroccan tagine actually. Internet was working, not so strong but it’s expected so nothing to complain about. The corner room on our last night was weak, it was okay coz we just crash to sleep for our early morning trip. Overall, everything went well and practically just what we need to experience Nubian community. Thanks to everyone for their hospitality.

Everything about this place was top-notch! Exceptional staff, the hostel owner, was very helpful and went out of her way to help me many times during my stay! The cleanliness is unmatched, honestly. Bed sheets are clean, the kitchen is clean, and the bathroom was as clean as you'd excpet it at your home! The hostel owner even helped me book a once in a lifetime trip to Abu-Simbel temple. I will definitely stay in this hostel every time I visit Aswan!

This beautiful guesthouse hosted by the most wonderful lady has an incredible view of the Nile. The facilities are clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she was kind enough to make us a superb dinner too as we were too tired from our travels to go out. The lovely host is responsive and happy to organise cheap transport for you to go wherever you need in Aswan. It might seem out of the way but the location is perfect for all the sights. I would 100% return here to enjoy the beautiful view, the delicious home cooked food, and the company of the wonderful hostess.

Basic rooms but the views and direct access to the water makes it 10/10. You can dip in for a swim or even rent kayaks and the owner ghandi has a wealth of local knowledge so be sure to ask him for tips. Really enjoyed Aswan and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The hosts go out of their way to provide the best experience for their guests. Many useful services are offered, but the hosts are not pushy about it. Things like the free breakfast and dinner, plus one-time free laundry service, are nice bonuses. I had a great experience here.

Heissa Hostel was perfectly what we were looking for. A beautiful guesthouse on the Nile where we really felt like home. Om Youssef and Om Rayan, our hosts are absolutely the Highlight of our stay. Both are very kind and very helpful. They took care if the slightest details and made sure that we are having the best Experience. The food is so yummy, cooked with so much love ❤️ we can’t wait to come again ! We recommend it 100%
