It was a very quiet, simple but comfortable room. You can reach the city center in 5 minutes by foot. On our first night we could even witness a neighbourhood/street festivity. Our room was equipped with two wide beds, two fans a bench to put our stuff and a private bathroom.

Το Solaris Hotel βρίσκεται σε Villavieja και διαθέτει βεράντα και μπαρ. The hotel was incredibly well cared for and clean. The rooms were well equipped and I couldn’t have asked for any more from all the staff, who were always so helpful, friendly and attentive.

Το Hotel Luna Azul Tatacoa που προσφέρει κήπο, μπαρ και εστιατόριο, είναι σε Villavieja. By far my favorite place I stayed during my 3 week trip. Truly a magical oasis in the desert. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed, tours, food, and even transportation back to the airport. The location was great, so quiet, yet close enough to town if you needed to go. The pool was nice and clean, the room was superclean, the air conditioning worked great too. The place is really unique, thoughtfully decorated with lights at night and really cool places and decor that the birds loved to land on, making for great bird watching as well. They always had coffee available too and tasty food from the restaurant. I would go back to this same hotel for sure.

The beds were so comfortable, we couldn't believe we were sleeping in a tent. The breakfast was delicious. The boy at the reception was very helpful and helped us organize a tuk-tuk driver for Tatacoa since we only had one they there. The common areas were relaxing and the location was close to the desert aswell as to the city centre. The night guard let us hang our washed clothes on the rack so they could dry.
