The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The location of the hotel is perfect for my visit. The room exceeded my expectations, spotlessly clean, an assortment of teas and coffee, biscuits and a small fridge. The bed was really comfortable and the heating was simple and easy to adjust. I will be visiting Sheffield again in the near future and the Leopold will be my first choice of hotel.

    This is a nice, old, traditional stadium, located just south...

    This is a nice, old, traditional stadium, located just south of the city centre. It is the oldest continually-used major football stadium in the World, and has a very historical feel, with blue plaques around the ground noting important dates, in cricket and tennis as well as football, and also at the old pub at the corner of the ground in Bramhall Lane. Well worth a look around, even if not going to a match.

    The staff were really friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. The location was good for a brief 20 minute walk to the City Hall. Plenty nearby as well. The breakfast was excellent. Probably not the place to stay if you are a Sheffield Wednesday fan though as it's right next to Bramall Lane :-)
