Beautifully located on the seaside, we had a sea view room, definitely worth to have it! Room is spacious, clean, with several amenities including a chaise longue plus table and seats on the balcony to enjoy the view. Very clean and well kept. On the arrival we received a fruit platter as welcome, water is available for free on top of the desk (while at very reasonable price there is more in the refrigerator) At the side of the hotel there is a grocery shop, so easy to get also some supplies in case of need. Breakfast is really with an ample choice of warm and cold platters, eggs can be ordered and at the bar they also prepare cappuccino, espresso...

Beautiful room & hotel with incredible views above and across Sarande. The hotel has recently opened and has been renovated beautifully with every detail thought of. The rooms are spacious, well designed, clean & very comfortable. It is a family run business and all were lovely and very accommodating- nothing was too much trouble (thank you again to Endri, Florian & Joana- I’ll see you guys next year hopefully🫶🏻) The buffet breakfast was delicious & varied and the dining area was the perfect place to enjoy some peace while overlooking the pool and city.

Wonderful hotel. The best location in Seranda. The staff is great all ways smelling , kind and helpful. Rooms are big , clean and comfortable. I recommend to take a room with a view to sea the beautiful sunset and sunrise. Many restaurants and shop around you. You really feel at home. Thank you for wonderful hospitality and great vacation.

Beautiful, modern, comfortable place, perfectly clean, with wonderful food ( great, rich with various choice of food breakfast, as well as perfect food in their restaurant on the beach), very nice, quite and comfortable beach, but above all with wonderful, great exemplary staff in the hotel as well as in the restaurant on the beach.     I am truly humbled by the hospitality of the Miamar team. As a solo traveler, I was so warmly welcomed. My trip was short but in the few days that I was there, the team made me feel like I was at home (a special shoutout to Emily & Elvis who are remarkable). Located literally a stone’s throw from the beach, Miamar is the very definition of luxury! Everyday you can chill by the pool or the beach and enjoy the most amazing drinks at the super chic beach or pool bars. They can also whip up the prettiest & tastiest mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) which was perfect for me. The food at the hotel restaurant is outstanding! I was usually out & about for lunch so I only had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant but I was never disappointed. The quality is amazing and the portions are generous. If you’re considering adding in a massage while you’re there - do it! You will not regret it! There is so much more I could say but I’ll leave it at that. If you have any specific questions, let me know. Overall, I highly highly highly recommend Miamar!

    Great hotel, best beach in Saranda in my opinion, friendly staff, amazing vies and sunsets from the balcony, Suite we stayed in is a new, modern, spacious, separate entity of the Andon Lapa complex, great value for money and extremely convenient for the families. Facilities are all one is looking for: beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, swimming pool and bar for any time refreshments. Additional bonus is Lubjana, she overlooks every detail in all areas, always approachable and going out of her way to accommodate any guest needs even out of her scope of duties, one of them is complimentary transfers to the port, many thanks Lubiana.

    The sea suddenly deepens, but the water wasn't salty. The city's beach was pebbly. You have to go to some more distant beaches for sand, but it's a fascinating city. It's definitely worth seeing.

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    If you are looking for a beach holiday with crystal-clear water, you need to go somewhere beyond Vlora. The central seaside street is very beautiful, it even feels a bit like Miami. But the sea in the city itself is awful – dirty and grey.

    Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the...

    Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

    The owner was very responsive.

    The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.

For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!

    "I wouldn't recommend anyone, because I was stolen from and lied to. They wanted to pay for my shorts and even asked for my bank details, but they didn't transfer the money they intended to! This is all a lie, these people are fake!" This all happened to „Social Camping“ After I complained, someone contacted me and threatened me. See picture that i uploaded!!!
