The restaurant was too pricey for a family of 4. We walked to the pub up the road.

The staff gave us floatation devices so the kids could use the pool.

We paid £100 for the room for one night which, in London, is pretty amazing. My 7 year old child loved the swimming pool, although the changing rooms were a bit basic. The room was okay. If I was being picky, I’d mention the hairs on the mattress and in the bathroom. The mattress was very hard and the pillows soft. Not to my particular taste, but some people might like it that way. The restaurant food was acceptable but not enjoyable. Overly salted rice. Soup spoons for pudding. Very basic.

The elevator would not let us choose the first floor which was where our room was. We asked the staff at the desk the first time, (thinking we must be doing something wrong) ,when we had all our bags, and she used her ID to make the elevator work. But all the other time we had to take the stairs because it still didn’t work. It was only one floor so no big deal but a little frustrating, and would have been a problem for someone who couldn’t take the stairs.

The soundproofing between the rooms was quite poor, because at night I could clearly hear snoring from behind my wall. My room had a dirty bathroom when I arrived, but I was able to change it to another room. I told the receptionist that I don't need cleaning, because I'm staying for a short time and I like my own peace. The receptionist said she would leave a note about it. Despite that, cleaner came to my room every day. I was fine with it until my stuff started disappearing. There wasn't proper hand soap in my room, so I bought my own bottle of soap. The cleaner had thrown it away. The cleaner had also taken my two make-up pencils. I didn't get any explanation from the hotel, so I was left with a strange feeling.

The location of the hotel is great if you value proximity to Heathrow airport. Transport links are good as Hatton Cross Underground Station is across the road. There is a Tesco Superstore about 15 minutes' walk away. I also appreciated the air conditioning and small fridge in my room. If it's hot outside, you can make your room as cool as you want.

Bad smell in the room/bathroom (zero response from reception when told). Choas at breakfast (clearing tables ourselves, asking for crockery and cutlery, mess everywhere). Clearly too many people to not enough staff. Should have gone to Premier Inn.

Swimming pool access was great. Soundproof room. Firm bed, comfy pillows. New carpet.

The restaurant is dreadful, the quality of the food is very bad, both during dinner and breakfast. The service is even worst, not because the people attending the restaurant give a bad service but because it's completely understaffed, so the tables are left with dirty dishes for long time. The distribution of the breakfast is incredible, the juices and coffee are at one end of the restaurant and the bread in the opposite

The room was in excellent condition, clean, everything worked properly. Even though it's very near the airport, the rooms are completely silent.

There was noticeable dirt and hairs on the bathroom floor, which I'm not used to seeing in a nice hotel. And my husband said it smelled like kitchen exhaust was vented into our room above the kitchen. He reported this to the front desk, and they said they haven't had that complaint before. So maybe it's not normally a problem?

Amazing breakfast buffet. We ate really well! The staff were very pleasant. Very close to the airport.

Very easy hotel to get to from Heathrow with one stop on the tube. The station is just across the road from the hotel so easy to walk to with suitcases and also easy to get into central London or anywhere else in the city. Nice hotel with a great swimming pool in the basement which was nice after a long flight. Highly recommend.

Pool advertised as closing at 9, went down at 8.30 to be told it was about to closed for cleaning. Cleaning should be after 9pm, or closing time of 8.30 should be given Getting room service was like pulling teeth. Telephone buttons don't work and even when you get right number they don't answer. Also very slow to arrive!

Staff were friendly and helpful, l9cation was good and sound from planes not noticeable, which I was very surprised by.
