This has been one the best properties we have stayed in. It has everything you need and more. We were kindly greeted by our host, the refrigerator was filled with food for us. Daily water bottles were offered, the washing machine and pool were great pluses. The house is big and comfortable for a family of four or more. Would definitely return.

It really is a good location.
It really is a good location. You do NOT want to be in Thira - just too busy. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from along the seafront. Small compact little town with a bus service that seems to get well used. Bus stop is just up the road from the Hotel. Service is regular to other parts of the island. Do not drive unless you are competent and confident. They are nutters. Roads are not really adequate for a scooter - that's why we chose a quad bike. You need to be early or late into Thira because when the cruise ships disgorge their human cargo you get swept along with the tide - not good. It can get really hot during the day so suncream and hat and water a MUST.

Beautiful vistas and elevated over Caldera with stunning...
Beautiful vistas and elevated over Caldera with stunning sunsets and great views. Avoid the town during the day from 11.00am to 5.00pm to miss the crowds due to the cruise ships swamping the place. I hired a scooter for two days at 40 euros but don't settle for first offer shop around as it made a 30 euro saving and haggle a bit to get a deal.

Maria truly treated us like family.
Maria truly treated us like family. You could feel the instant warmth when you arrive and she even invited us for an evening celebration at her house which was outstanding 😀 The private pool was great as the kids swarm in it for as long as they needed. Breakfast was awesome to say the least. Would highly recommend Anema to anyone visiting Santorini if you want a peaceful and memorable vacation.. I would recommend renting a car as this made it easier for us to navigate most of the city.

This town was a great location on the island. Not to close to the over touristed towns but easy access to them. The Town has everything you need, good restaurants, wineries and the best bakery in the island.

A really central location with terrific caldera views!
A really central location with terrific caldera views! Depending on where you stay, there are some places In Firostefani that require fewer steps to navigate compared to other locations along the caldera. There are also some great restaurants at reasonable prices.
