We have informed the host upfront we will arrive in the night time, but they were waiting for us. Beautiful surroundings in the villas area. The apartment well equipped, clean and comfortable. We have arrived with two dogs, there were no issues. We could find ghee in the fridge, thank you for it! Parking was provided in front of the house. Amazing nature and really close to the beach and shopping areas.

Old industrial building remade with good taste and with 1st class materials. Accommodation was very clean and with excellent equipping. Great location. Surely will visit again.

Clean, convenient and functional comfort at a great price. Breakfast was more than expected and unlimited access to coffee etc was a nice bonus.

I really enjoyed the tranquility. I was one of the few there, literally. Only a few lights in the Silverstrand facilities, saunas and kota-hut for me to enjoy with plenty of firewood. Sea was frozen. Snow. Enough far from the main roads. Beautiful stars. I could imagine how one might find all said a source for anxiety, but it all really depends what you're looking for. I wanted quiet time in a comfortable setting. I got exactly what I bargained for. Hanko is considered as a summer town, which it definitely is. Winter can be windy, cold and hostile in many ways, especially next to the ocean. It was all that, especially windy, but then it's all about the right gear and mind set. I got a feeling of being up north on this visit.
