When I arrived at the hotel, I left my bag on the taxi, the lady at the desk was so kind to contact the taxi company and help me to get another taxi to get to the airport again to get my backpack back. Thank you so much! My suggestion is to ask the owner to order pickup taxi for you, so that everything is traceable. We took the white taxi from airport twice, once was nice, but the other taxi driver took my receipt away(so that we cannot find his nummer) and dropped us waaaaay far away from the hotel. The cars ordered by the hotel, however, were always nice. The location was great, 5 minutes walk to the center and almost everything. The sea was just below. Everyday the breakfast was nice with fantastic view on the terrace, couldn't stop shooting photos everyday. The staff was kind and welcoming, always responding to our need. The room was nice as well. The decoration was of good tast and it's nice to have a loft and a large separate sofa bed(which is rare in other hotels). We also got a little present on the new years eve. It's a very nice experience! 到酒店的时候我不小心把包落在来的出租车上了，酒店很好的帮我联系机场的出租车公司（管理有点原始并且电话很难找），帮我重新打了车赶回机场找回了包。建议大家让酒店包车来接，因为机场的白色出租车管理有点乱出了问题也没法追溯，我能找回包完全是因为路上拍景色的时候偶然照到了司机。我总共坐了两次白色出租车，一次还挺好的，但是另一次司机抢了我的收据（让我没法之后找到他），并且给我们扔在了离酒店很远很远的地方。而酒店帮忙叫的专车都很不错，态度好送的也到位，速度很快，去临边的城市很划算。 酒店位置相当不错，离所有中心场所就5-10分钟距离，楼下走几步就是海边，非常不错。早餐的露台景色绝了，超级漂亮，每天早上拍拍拍都不够，还能看见小麻雀在一旁等待，超可爱。每天早饭的服务也比较好，员工都挺热情耐心的，要什么总会很快回应。我们住的是有loft的套房(这么大的套房其实在valletta比较难找，和家人去彼此有分开的空间不至于相互打扰)，跟照片基本一致，装修漂亮也比较干净，有电视还有很好的音响。新年还得到了一份小礼物，总体体验很好很开心。

Emilija, our host, is a gem!!! Before we left home she was prompt and very helpful in responding to all our emails. She gave us lots of useful information on everything from eateries, supermarkets and transport to touristy things. We made the mistake of not taking her offer to arrange a taxi from the airport; instead we took a taxi from the rank. It dropped us nowhere near the apartment so we dragged our heavy luggage around cobble-stoned Republic Street most of which is pedestrianised and crowded with spatially unaware tourists (a bit like ourselves) looking unsuccessfully for the apartment. Eventually we called her and she rescued us by meeting us and dragging one of the suitcases about one kilometer to the apartment on a hot, humid day. That's going well and truly above and beyond the line of duty. If we'd taken the taxi she arranged, the driver would have dropped us to our doorstep and it would have cost us the same as the airport taxi!! So take her advice. The apartment is refurbished and modern with induction hotplates, a microwave, an oven, small fridge and separate freezer together with a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed is very comfortable. Although there's a lift, I enjoyed the workout of the stairs. There's a small store immediately next door with a lovely, helpful lady owner and another store 20 paces away which between them have all the essentials including fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices. There's a bewildering array of eateries within half a kilometer. We ate at the Beati Paoli which Emilija recommended for its rabbit. A good choice.

Thoughtfully furnished and decorated throughout. Superb location. Quiet. No AC but good ventilation and effective fan. Great kitchen for self-catering. Gracious hosts.
