The location of the property is at one of the most beautiful sunset beaches in Tahiti and historic area. The hosts were very helpful with any advice you needed to enjoy the area , food , restaurants and transport. The actual room/ kitchenette and the bathroom were spacious and superbly equipped. Wi-fi was one of the best . Exceptionally clean, private and walking distance to the supermarkets, food trucks and a lunch restaurant Mama's Beach House. Excellent stay for Tahiti and incredibly kind owners , Guy and Ingrid, who hosted a wonderful locally sourced and home made dinner. Their 2 dogs were lovely to have around and gentle.

The home gives off a nice comfortable cottage vibe, with the backdrop of tropical paradise. Gearld and Jean-Pierre are wonderful hosts, their dogs Bichat and Charlie, and their cat, Panther, add a warm home away from home family. Gearld’s decoration is amazing, and Jean-Pierre’s culinary skills are a joy to witness. If you do have any plans in the evening, (and you comfortable with Google translate and as an English speaker), having dinner with them is truly a treat, the conversation will have you laughing and feeling good well into the night.

12/10 … it was a real blast. The place is even better than the picture. It is paradise, the unit is practical, the breeze at night is a therapy - I would not stay anywhere else in Papeete ! Dominique accepted my request last minute and I stayed 6 days for work purposes and everything was ideal for me ! Dominique will always be available for any questions/ any arrangements. Outstanding services. The Toupidek will always be my place to go while visiting Papeete. Thank you Dominique. You are a GEM !

The owner himself is an amazing person and extremely helpful and friendly. He treated us as his best friends. The bungalow's decoration is all made by the owner. The near-by beach is amazing: suitable for surfing on the left side and with almost no waves on the left side, nice soft black sand, a coral reef right there with lots of tropical fish. There is a direct access to the beach from the property. There is no AC, but ceiling fans are in each room and that is enough. Perfect location: close to the Pearl Resort, the Hall museum, and a short drive from Papeete.
