This is a rare gem (actually, so convenient that I first hesitated to book: never imagined it’s possible to spend a night in a huge, comfy fully equipped bungalow in Tahiti, within walking distance to THE best public beach, for less than 100 Euros/night for two persons). The bungalow actually accommodates 4. We were welcomed to check in in the early morning, as we arrived at 5AM, and the owners did everything to help us (they let us use their washing machine, as ours had a bug…). There is a carport to park your vehicle (rather a must). Wi-Fi worked perfectly! Two restaurants within walking distance, one of which (the Hotu Mahana ) is on the beach (we found no other like it outside resorts). Thanks a lot, Moeata!

The bungalow has its own access to the water in a beautiful location, which is great - kayak and paddleboard are provided. The location is simply beautiful and so tranquil. Whilst the property is quite a way out of Papeete, it is within easy reach of some of the most beautiful areas of the island (west and southwest - car needed!) and also in close proximity of supermarkets (by car). The host was wonderful (thanks for starter pack of beer, water and fruit) and so was the elderly neighbour who looks after the property. I would happily stay here again - well away from the hustle and bustle of the town. I recommend hiring a car at the airport or from the small place just across the road from the bungalow (French speaking). They quoted me for three full days at a very reasonable price.

Tahiti je nádherné, lokalita ubytování na břehu moře je kouzelná, zahrada s bazénem výrazně rozšiřuje možnosti relaxace. Velmi pomáhá i blízkost (přes ulici) obchodu, banky, lékárny a půjčovny aut. Vybavení a čistota ubytování je na velmi vysoké úrovni. Max. spokojenost.

The couple that own the place is lovely and caring, the place is chill and cleaned everyday. The breakfast provided is healthy and the hours are very acomodating. They know a lot of people on the island and can arrange a lot of stuff, its situated close to the beaches (walking distance ) as well as a small supermarket and a nice restaurant (check the barbecue place it's mean) overall i will recommend the place to all my friends coming to the island !

We stay here 2 times. The owner, Mael and Yukimo are a very nice, friendly and helpful couple. The apartment was absolutly clean, nice designed and best fitted. Its very quit, the only noice you here in the morning is the rooster 🙂 Yukimo pick us allways up in time, drives carefully and we had nice conversations; also with Mael. The only things to improve would be: Some hook in the bathroom would be helpful for hanging a wash bag or so and a small table or desk inside would be nice too. We are coming again and! send friends 😉

Cozy little place with excellent location. Vaiara beach is less that 5 minutes walk from the apartment, great beach for swimming and snorkeling. The apartment is clean with nice garden, host was very polite and helpful, WiFi was surprisingly good and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!
