We liked everything, the facility is beautiful, excellent view, even better food. Sabrina is very kind, whatever we asked her she managed to get. All the other workers are very kind, an added plus is that you don't have to go out to restaurants, you can buy everything at the accommodation, the menu prices are very affordable. It is very clean and peaceful.

Very clean, well kept, small hotel that provides a heaven of peace and privacy in Zanzibar. Staff very attentive. Held by a family who cares about the facility like their home. Good food at the restaurant. 1min walk to the beach. Good value.

Charming Boutique hotel lovingly designed down to the smallest detail. Wonderful rooms, large balcony, great breakfast and dinner. White powdery sand beach only one step away - quiet and clean at all times. Amazing owners. Very friendly and always helpful staff. Arranged for me everything. Service level: 10++/10. I loved everything about Matemwe Ocean View Villas! I love how remote from all the zanzibar tourist attraction noise it is. It’s perfectly quiet, serene and beautiful. I felt like I could truly breathe here. Laucin a the absolute legend of a host. He shared his Moroccan food with me from his family and the food portion sizes were HUGE and DELICIOUS! Nowhere else compares in zanzibar for us. We even cancelled a reservation to stay an extra night and our only regret is choosing to go somewhere else for our last 2 nights. Next time, we’ll have our entire stay here. My favourite part was swimming in the pool under nothing but the moonlight and stars above us. It was absolutely amazing. My husband and I enjoyed so much that we barely took photos!

The property is very well maintained and true to the photos. It's perfect for a family holiday - there were 6 adults in our group and it felt spacious. The view from the veranda is the best I've ever had. We went for full board and the meals were amazing - fresh local food prepared by the excellent house team.

- View was breathtaking. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was spectacular. The garden and the terrace outside the house were outstanding! Everything was also clean and in good order. - The house itself was spacious and well-kept. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen well-equipped and the furniture all over was comfortable and in good shape. Toilets were also comfortable and regularly cleaned. - Food was excellent in all meals. The chef really knows his seafood! - On top of that, the staff were amazing. The house manager was very helpful. The ladies in the staff team were outstanding and super friendly. Smiles in every greeting and very warm attitude throughout the stay. A special thank to Latifa and Dolores for making our stay memorable.
