Located 500 metres from Abraao Beach, Canoa Abraão offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

Situated within 300 metres of Abraao Beach and 1.1 km of Abraaozinho Beach, Casa da Ilha Inn, Ilha Grande features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Abraão. I honestly think it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Brazil. the location is stunning, it is so nice that the house has its own deck. it makes it so much easier to get there, take a taxi boat, etc. it is also nice to read a book. the rooms are absolutely beautiful, I travelled a lot in Brazil and I never saw this quality for bedding, decorations, etc. the service is great: we loved the breakfast and the tea time, and we loved the option to order pique-nique for our walks.

Featuring a bar and views of sea, La Coquille is a recently renovated guest house located in Praia de Araçatiba, a few steps from Aracatiba. Breakfast was great, service was excellent, gentleman named Diego/Jiego took care of everything, got my laundry done, got a free room upgrade, had tours of the island organised. 10/10 would go again.

Situated in Praia de Araçatiba, Pousada Belas Águas features a restaurant, sea views and free WiFi, a few steps from Aracatiba and 1.5 km from Araçatibinha Beach. Beautiful room and views! Couldn’t believe how clean it was considering the Pousada is right on the beach. Lovely breakfast that you can place your order for the night before and they will either bring it to you room or set it up on the beach for you. Gabriel and his family were all so lovely and helpful, there was a bit of a language barrier but they organised a brilliant boat trip around the island which I’d highly recommend doing

Featuring a patio with garden views, a garden and a bar, Fauna can be found in Praia do Bananal, close to Bananal Beach and 1.4 km from Matariz Beach. Nathalia is fantastic and a great host. The hotel is quiet, beautiful and pursues one of the best views of Ilha Grande. I went by boat and it is very close to the blue lagoon and also from Angra.

Offering garden views, Saracura is an accommodation set in Praia de Araçatiba, 300 metres from Araçatibinha Beach and 500 metres from Aracatiba. The location is perfect! We loved waking up every morning in paradise. We went swimming with the turtles every day and ate in some very nice restaurants near by. Highly recommend!

Recanto das Flores Lofts - Ilha Grande Rj, a property with a garden, is set in Abraão, 400 metres from Abraao Beach, 1.2 km from Preta Beach, as well as 2.5 km from Abraaozinho Beach. Great little place, everything was amazing. The host was extremely warm and helpful. Breakfast was homemade. The place is walking distance (under 4 minutes) from the Abraao center, but its secluded so its really quiet.
