The view from the room was perfect. It has water access and lounge chairs you can borrow to sit by the lake. It was in a central location, had a good breakfast and parking. The staff did a great job communicating in English. We appreciated that so much. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and clean room, with a lovely balcony overlooking Bodensee! Fantastic location, right on the water so I could run along the lake straight from the guesthouse. The staff were very friendly and really accommodating - they prepared breakfast half an hour early for me as I had to check out early.

Breakfast was outstanding! Selection was extensive. As vegans we are often overlooked but we were very well catered for here. Service was great too, breads and cereals along with none dairy milk selections and fruit. Balcony to room was lovely and private, big enough to picnic on and to do morning yoga. Lots of toys etc for children if you have them ( we did not have for this visit). We felt really taken care of. Also impressed by the local giant pears!!!

The house is big and spacious for hosting lots of people. The TV is very big and the couches are nice for watching movies etc. The dining room table is very big and the chairs are super comfortable. There is plenty of good lighting throughout the house and mostly good quality furniture. The best part is that you are very close to the water and to the Swiss border. Stein am Rhein is a beautiful medieval town withing walking distance.
