From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality shown by our host, Mohamed, and his employees were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The Nubian breakfast served each morning was a highlight as well. The guesthouse's location on Elephantine Island only added to its charm. I would return in a heartbeat and encourage anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming experience in Aswan to consider staying here.

Perfect romantic location right next to the Nile river. Far away from Egypt's street noise. It has a rural feel, which is exactly what we looked for. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures and the view to the river is breathtaking. Very comfortable beds, typical hearty and delicious Egyptian breakfast (the best we've had in Egypt). Ahmed is extremely kind, welcoming and very funny. He picked us up from the airport even at midnight. He also organized at reasonable prices a private boat trip to the Botanical garden and Nubian village (he even demonstrated his Nubian braveness by holding a crocodile). He is very honest and it's best to ask him to organize tours because he gives attractive offers, much better than the tour agencies. It is the perfect place to immerse yourselves in the traditional Nubian culture and way of life. Right next to the guest house is a "Kafana cafe", where you can enjoy delicious and freshly prepared food with a stunning view to the Nile. If we ever visit Aswan again, we will undoubtedly pick Ahmed's guest house and we definitely recommend that you do so as well. You won't regret it!

18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Artika Wadi Kiki Hotel is a recently renovated property situated in Aswan and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Artika Wadi Kiki is one of the best and most authentic hotels I've ever been to! I would definitely recommend it to everyone coming to Aswan. The staff is nice and polite, the dinner we had was great, but above all, the ambient and the details of this place are amazing. The hotel staff upgraded us from a regular room to a chalet which left us amazed. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff helps you with your luggage. Again, all praise for this wonderful place!

Set in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Kafana Guest House Nile View features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area and free WiFi. Peaceful and quiet. The rooms have all the basic necessities and is very clean. The staffs were very nice and the food was great! Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!
