We got dinner from the neighbor twice and it was beyond delicious!! The walk to the beach is short. The owners are super friendly and caring, it was a pleasure to stay here. Tommy and his family are special, we had a beautiful connection since the begging 😊 Delft Island is an hidden gem out of the touristic route and for us one of the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. What makes the difference is the people, always smiling and welcoming, and ready to help! Tommy's place is simply gorgeous, tents are comfortable and it has everything you need. You can also rent bikes to go around the island and explore. His mom cooked delicious breakfast and dinner for us, and it was the best food we've had 😊 I highly recommend Tommy's place because you can really feel the love he has put to build it.
