The owner family are really nice, welcoming, and helpful. Great hosts. The parking was covered, the views from the balcony were priceless. Too bad it was raining during our stay, it would have been great to explore the grounds a bit more, it's a wonderful spot right on the fjord.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't quite what we had hoped for, but we still went for a lot of walks and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. We slept wonderfully in the very comfortable beds. Situated by the Larvik Fjord in central Larvik, this property offers free parking and rustic-style rooms with antique furnishings, free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV. The guesthouse is not just a regular guesthouse, it is so much more. I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw my room. It was like out of a fairytale! There is so much work, craft, talent and passion put into this historical place! One of the best stays in my life! Very good quiet and beautiful location, just few steps from the main train station in Larvik and the sea, away from noise, super quiet and pleasant. I loved absolutely everything about Lysko Gjestegård. So happy I found it and booked it for my 2 nights stay. Highly recommend.
