Missed out on the full breakfast experience due to an early morning flight but were packed off with a lovely fruit salad & juice. Very big spacious, cool room.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, XIN Bed&Breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in San José, 46 km from Poas National Park. I enjoyed my stay here very much. Everything was as expected. I arrived after a long flight and Xin was very kind helping me with some problems.

Situated in San José and within 4.3 km of La Sabana Metropolitan Park, Casa Mayela Guest House has a garden, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. This is a treasure. Located near bus terminal (Tracopa - one of the mayor bus lines in Costa Rica), on walking distance from mayor San Jose's museums: National museum, Pre-Columbian gold museum, and a Jade museum. The guesthouse is a nice old house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is very clean. The owner, Senora Mayela, is a treasure as well, a warm-hearted person. She took the best care of me, and our conversations were delightful! If you need a cozy place to stay in downtown San Jose, look no further. This is it! Thank you, senora Mayela, for everything!

Casa De Las Tias is located in San José. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this property features free daily American breakfast, plus free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. One of our best stays in a while, an amazing first stay for us arriving in Costa Rica. Great amenities and Pilar, Xavier and the staff were very helpful and friendly, always available for advice. A place where we wish we could have stayed more than two nights, 10/10.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the historic centre of Escazú, this B&B offers accommodation with free high-speed Wi-Fi and a coffee station available 24 hours a day. Cecile is an amazing host. The house is beautiful, quiet and the garden is wonderful. The room and bed were very comfortable, the shower is very good and there are many different common spaces to relax or work. Anytime I need to go to San Jose, I will stay here!

Pura Vida Dream, a property with a garden, is set in San José, 49 km from Poas National Park, 4.1 km from La Sabana Metropolitan Park, as well as 5.5 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. Staff was great and Kenneth was an excellent host. This is a National Heritage building and was still under restoration but could be an excellent place when completed. We were comfortable, the place was clean and surroundings were quiet, the attached terrace was a great place for sitting outside to read and eat. Walking distance to everywhere.

This hostel is really beautiful et clean. I had no problem to check-in and check-out. The lady there was so kind :))

From the first moment I arrived Fabien received me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. The room was clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious.
