Located just 600 metres from Tarrafal Beach, Deluxe B&B "Casa Alegria", Tarrafal features accommodation in Tarrafal with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Had a very nice stay, the B&B strikes a good balance between comfortable rooms and amenities serviced by professional staff, and a homely and welcoming vibe more frequently found in hostels. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, which is a nice open location to start the day. The owners are friendly people open for a chat and were happy to give some advise about the area and share their own experiences. The rooms are a step above what I've experienced in similarly priced accommodations nearby and have individual A/C units, which is not a given in the area. This was very welcome since it was rather hot and humid during my stay!

With mountain views, Dunas De Areia Preta is located in Ribeira da Prata and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, children's playground and picnic area. Very big apartment with 360 view (4 balconies). Very clean. Owners and staff are extremely friendly. Very good communication. They helped with everything. Breakfast and dinner are superb. Airport transfer, laundry service. The location is in a little village with 2 little supermarkets and 1 small restaurant. People here know each other and are very friendly.

Situated in Tarrafal and with Mar di Baxu Beach reachable within 400 metres, B&B "Villa Alegria", Tarrafal features concierge services, soundproof rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Location close to Tarrafal beach. Breakfast was very good. Mini fridge refilled every day for no extra cost was so so thoughtful, plus the bottle of wine to welcome us. The bathroom had shower gels, perfumes, shampoo, cotton buds, hair dryer, body lotion... it was all about great extras at this B&B. The place is also quiet and very relaxing. Irène is such a nice person, she organized a fishing trip for us. She was always offering great advice about literally anything 😄 and we can confirm her advice were worth it. Thanks again Irene and stay the same!

Offering a garden and sea view, Villa PalMarina is located in Praia, 400 metres from Cova Figueira Beach and 1.2 km from Praia de Quebra Canela. Everything was just very simple, the place is beautifully decorated, mosquito nets in the bedroom and at the windows, the breakfeast was perfect for me and the host (Marina) was super nice as well, giving me recommendations on what to do, safety etc

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Pensione Casa da AMIZADE B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Pedra Badejo, 26 km from Cape Verde National Stadium. Tiziana and Maurizio are lovely hosts, we had a great time. They are real genuine good people! They also have a social project, supporting single mothers, which we found very touching. We had some nice chats and they gave super recommendations on what to do on our last day in Cabo Verde. Maurizio prepared breakfast for us personally, which was the best we had in CV! Even the cakes he bakes himself! We just stayed for one night, before our flight home the next evening. They even offered leaving our bags behind as the room wasn't booked for the next night. We could go back to have a rest and a shower before our night flight, which was a huge help and very thoughtful, as my partner got sick on our last days and needed an extra siesta before the travel. I did not manage to say good-bye properly, so here is a huge: GRAZIE! I wish you all the best and good luck with your new business!

A recently renovated property, KAZARÃO DI MAVETE - Guesthouse is set in Praia near Praia de Gamboa, Praia Negra and Justice Palace. Stayed in room 2 which is amazingly restored with air conditioning, lots of natural light from those 3 large windows, French balcony, ocean view, and a very modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Internet was perfect during my entire stay. Enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso coffee in the lobby. Excellent airport transfers and a half day tour to a nearby historic town and fort were arranged by the owner at minimal cost. The location of the property was excellent and breakfast was easy to obtain about 50 meters up the street at a delightful cafe again at low cost. Enjoyed lunches, dinners and cold beers at the many restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance of the guesthouse. Eddy is an exceptional host and very knowledgeable about everything in Cape Verde. He brings staying at this accommodation to another level. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Cape Verde and would without hesitation recommend Eddy to suggest/arrange any tours in this beautiful country.

In the Achada de Santo Antonio district of Praia, close to Praia de Prainha, Kelly Guest House features a garden and a washing machine. Only spent one night there and arrived late from the airport. But it was really nice. We had a big apartment upstairs all to ourselves. And the breakfast in the morning was very good too. The staff was very helpful beforehand, arranging a pickup and drop off at the airport. There are a few restaurants 5 mins away by foot and the beach isn't far either but didn't have time to test it.
