Very helpful staff. Room was clean and airy. It was nice and quiet at night. The location is great for walking into town and visiting the castle. Breakfast and dinner were both very good.

Set in a Grade II listed building, this hotel combines historic charm with modern convenience, still retains its original features, open fires and wonderful antiques. The room was incredible! We stayed in the Hamlet room. Spacious and full of historic details and furniture. The copper bathtub was amazing. My favorite was the extra dressing room. Reception was very friendly.

Very helpful with a map and a hot drink of you choice after arrival, to explain the town, restaurants etc. A wonderful cooked breakfast next morning.. Very happy.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and for nicer hosts. Such a nice room with a cute bathroom, great coffee machine, very comfy bed and daily room cleaning. The breakfast was great, with a lot of options to choose from. The location is also very convenient, a short walk from the city centre or the train station, and facing a Spar.

Isobel was not only friendly and welcoming but also very helpful to help us reach our needs. We will definitely go back to her House and could only recommend her place. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the Breakfast fabulous! Plenty of local good and fresque produits! We already miss her!
